“Great place for a munch, relaxed vibe, truly lovely attentive staff, smily and kept checking in, World Cup on tv screens outside, and the food was tremendous - the recommended chicken starter and particularly the beef main course weee genuinely excellent. Especially the beef. Well done chaps.”

“A charming spot in Roma Norte for dinner. If you have the chance opt for the outdoor seating. The tables are covered so gentle rain is not an issue. I found the options to be quite delicious, especially the guacamole made tableside by David. The Caramelo is definitely worth a try for a very robust, flavourful and filling meal. The cocktail selection also was enjoyable with the Conejos Mule delivering excellent flavour and the Mezalita Anchor packing surprising heat.”

“This was our second to last meal in CDMX and it was lovely grabbing drinks and sitting outside. The highlight was the mezcalitas and tableside guacamole—I’ve made guacamole many times in my life but it never turns out that good. There are veg options, but it’s pan fried cauliflower subbed into whatever the protein would be. The tacos were delicious, everything else looked good but was very not. Would go back for guacamole and mezcalitas.”

“The people are so friendly-Usiel, David & Mauricio! The restaurant makes the guacamole right at your table. We also got the shrimp tacos & also the ceviche-everything was so good! So were the drinks-I got the Tamborini Sunset (virgin beverage). The taste of everything was muy excellente & the atmosphere & ambience of the place & the presentation of the food were top notch!”

“We planned ahead with reservations after a friend recommended this place. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed, with multiple groups waiting for tables, always a great sign. The four of us shared several entrées, and everything was excellent. Usiel was an attentive and friendly server, and the entire experience was seamless. Highly recommend Santo Habanero.”
