Born on the balmy beaches of the Yucatán in 2006, Tacombi is your dream destination for authentic tacos, Mexican snacks, sunset cocktails y ice-cold beer. Our neighborhood taquerias are places to gather, enjoy and share in the communion of tacos. We are honored & grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and to share authentic Mexican taco culture every single day.
“The Baja fish tacos were SO good so definitely the star of the meal 🌮🔥 I’d honestly come back just for those!! The carne asada was a little too salty for my taste, and the birria itself was good, but the consommé/sauce it came with was also a bit salty for me :( That said, I didn’t mention it to staff because it may just be my personal preference. Service was really good, and overall I’d still come back for those Baja fish tacos thoooo 😭✨”
“Came for after-work drinks… stayed emotionally attached to the quesadillas. 😂🌮 My friend and I ordered the quesadillas and they were AMAZING. Brian, our server, was attentive, patient with my forever-indecisive self, and gave great food and drink recommendations. He represented the restaurant so well that I already know I’ll be back with more friends and coworkers. Safe to say we may have just found our new after-work spot. 🍹”
“Crispy chips and chunky guacamole so good! Love the open design and fresh air and comfy seating. Friendly service and easy to get a table. Walking home from the Met it was a perfect NYC Day.”
“The quesadilla looks different from what I am generally used to as an American. It still tasted good. Ordered extra "spicy" sauces 1.5 each. But they weren't actually spicy. Very mild for me. But refreshing. My hispanic buddy that brought me had a little taste and said it was spicy though 🤪 maybe Asians can eat spicier. I ate the habanero and the other spicy sauce by the spoon 😂 the Horchata was good. The first time I came, I got pineapple. Seemed slightly watered down but it was still good.”
“This particular Tacombi had the feeling of a true Mexican taqueria. The service was excellent (shout out to Sofia and Erika). I would recommend the guacamole ($14.99 plus tax) and pico de gallo ($4.00). Among the tacos, the Baja crispy fish ($6.99) is my favorite.”
