“Really enjoyed Tacombi in Long Island City! The vibe is fun and laid-back, perfect for hanging out with friends. The staff was super friendly and the service was quick. The tacos were 🔥 — especially the Baja fish. Everything tasted fresh, and the guac with chips was on point. The margaritas were really good too. Big shoutout to Ana the bartender — she was amazing, super friendly, and made great drinks. She definitely made the experience even better. Prices are a little higher than your average taco spot, but the food, drinks, and atmosphere make it worth it. Definitely coming back!”
“I had such a wonderful experience at Tacombi! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, fresh, and the portions were very generous, which made it even better. Everything came out just right, and you can really taste the quality and care in each dish. What made the visit even more special was the service. Grace, the manager, is truly outstanding. She’s attentive, incredibly friendly, and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. It’s rare to see a manager who takes so much time to connect with guests, and she really goes above and beyond. Grace is honestly one of the best managers I’ve ever met — she made me feel so welcomed and appreciated. Sara, my server, was also amazing. She took the time to ask me about allergies and toppings, which shows how professional and thoughtful she is. She really knows her job and does it with so much care and kindness. She made the experience smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. Overall, the combination of excellent food, warm atmosphere, and such a fantastic team made this visit memorable. Tacombi is lucky to have people like Grace and Sara, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”
“Better than we thought it was going to be. The Al pastor tacos were a little dry but the crispy fish and birria tacos were great! We’ll def come back to try others!”
“+ Get $25 off using the link on my profile! I love the immersive deco here that gives off street-stall vibes! The food was good too, although I preferred their normal tacos to the tacos de barbacoa apparently crafted with a michelin starred chef.. would come again!”
“My husband and I visited on a Friday around 7 PM. The restaurant was busy, and it was clear the kitchen was understaffed while juggling dine-in and takeout. We waited about 20 minutes for our food, which felt long since we were so hungry. The Food: The Baja Crispy Fish was the highlight, tasty and juicy in both the taco and the burrito (though the burrito felt a bit dry and could have used more black beans). However, the Al Pastor and Chicken Tinga were quite dry, and the tortillas on the chicken taco was overly hard. The Carnitas Quesadilla was good but very greasy; the side sauce was essential to balancing it out. The Service: Unfortunately, service was lacking. We weren’t checked on, and our request for water never arrived. I also wasn't a fan of the QR code payment system, which charges an extra platform fee despite being the primary way to pay.”
