“Best Soccer (Arsenal) bar in the city. The vibes are electric during matchdays. Celebrity sightings are also common here.”
“This bar nails the cozy, neighborhood vibe with warm lighting, exposed brick, and lively energy. The drinks are well-crafted, the wings are delicious, and the staff keeps things friendly and efficient. Great music, cool decor, and a welcoming crowd make it an ideal spot for relaxing or catching up with friends.”
“Came in on a happy hour special for a glass of wine. Super delicious and well needed. Staff were super pleasant and friendly, waiter was attentive. Ordered onion rings which were delicious and fresh. Intend on returning spot is gem worthy.”
“Good times at Fancy Free! After I sat down at least 3 servers asked within 5 minutes if I needed anything. They are very aware and very friendly. The deviled eggs were delicious , slightly smoky , slightly spicy and including a crunch of fried onions! The chicken empanadas were tasty as well. The prices here are very reasonable and the vibe is good!”
“I came here for the first time with my best friend and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience before we were even able to enjoy anything. We were seated at a table to the left of the entrance. The table next to us had a reserved sign on it, but ours did not. A group of 5–6 people arrived with a server, and someone suggested they take our table because they were a larger party. I immediately explained that we had already been seated there for about 15 minutes and that our table had no reserved sign. A few minutes later, another staff member came over and told us our table was actually reserved. Again, I explained that there had been no sign on the table when we sat down. He apologized, but by that point the situation had already been handled so poorly that we decided to leave. Mistakes happen, and as someone who works in hospitality, I’m usually very understanding. What was frustrating was the complete lack of effort to acknowledge the inconvenience or make any attempt to accommodate us afterward. There was no sense of accountability and no concern for how uncomfortable and unwelcome we were made to feel in that moment. It was incredibly inhospitable and left a very poor impression, especially as a first-time guest.”
