“We enjoyed a verde gimlet and summer sour along with arancini, mafalde al limone, fusilli al ferretto, pappardelle salsiccia, and a torta cioccolato e nocciola. Everything was great but we particularly enjoyed the arancini (the tartar sauce was different but so good), mafalde al limone, and of course the dessert. Pretty good options for vegetarians. Atmosphere was nice too, just a little loud but we assume this is par for the course. Great service from Stephany.”

“We stopped by Felice for the first time and sat at the bar. Jay was fantastic. He made the perfect martini. What really stood out was how engaging and easy he was to talk to. It’s rare to find a bartender who delivers both great drinks and such quality conversation. A detail I really appreciated was his attention to cleanliness. He even put on gloves before adding the olives to the glass. Will definitely be back.”

“We’ve been coming to Felice for a long time and usually enjoy it, which makes today’s experience even more disappointing. When we arrived, we were offered tap or sparkling water in a way that clearly sounded like a courtesy. We accepted sparkling, only to discover on the bill that we were charged $11 for it — more expensive than the beer we ordered, which was $10. That already felt misleading. Then we ordered a pasta special from the menu described as lamb ragù with pecorino cheese. When the dish arrived, the flavor was extremely strong and my husband literally pulled more than five large pieces of anise out of his mouth. The ragù was completely inedible, so we ended up just eating some of the plain pasta. Nowhere on the menu did it mention anise, which is a very dominant and specific flavor that absolutely should be disclosed. The waitress noticed we left almost the entire dish. We explained the issue and even showed her the pieces of anise, yet there was absolutely no gesture from the staff — no replacement, no apology, nothing. In the end we paid about $100, including $11 for sparkling water that was presented as if it were complimentary, and $32 for a pasta dish that did not match what was described on the menu. It’s really a shame, because this used to be a place we liked. Today, however, the experience felt misleading and frankly like a rip-off.”
