“Delicious burger, cozy vibes, and service that can’t be beat. On the recommendation of our server, Tom, we ordered the sunchokes for an appetizer and cheeseburger and risotto for mains. Favorite bite of the night were the sunchokes with fresh parm and pepper sauce. The cheeseburger and risotto were also outstanding and generously portioned. For dessert, our server recommended an unforgettable parsnip sponge cake with a decadent heap of cream cheese buttercream. The knowledgeable and friendly service made the dining experience warm and welcoming. I’ll be back!”
“I had a great experience at this American restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and rich flavors. The burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked, the fries were crispy, and the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with a cool, casual vibe. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Service was fast, and everything arrived fresh and hot. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot if you’re craving classic American comfort food. I’ll definitely be back for another burger night!”
“Burger and focaccia were delicious, the burger especially stood out. A side of focaccia is perfectly sized for 2 people actually - and cheaper than the dish. Coffee with orange blossom cream was interesting, would recommend to try at least once. Chicken and pancake was way too buttery and the chicken ended up tasting dry. Next time would skip that. It had good intentions though, just maybe excited slightly poorly.”
“Beautiful spot. DELICIOUS FOOD. My best friend and I went last night and are still in shock. That yuzi aoli burger? The way the lamb melted in our mouths. The crispy potatoes? Everything we tried was mouthwatering. ANGIE took really good care of us. Welcoming. kind, and gave the best recommendations. We will for sure be back. I strongly recommend.”
“TLDR: A nice little neighborhood spot over in Greenpoint. New American-ish fare. If coming for brunch - definitely get that egg sandwich! Solid burger as well. Gator was on our list for awhile and we happened to be in the area and came for brunch. It's a small spot but very nice and cozy. Very retro/vintage decor. We got the spiced potatoes, the burger, the egg sandwich and the mushroom toast. Spiced potatoes were nice and starchy, a good amount of seasoning and because I hate ketchup - they were nice enough to give me some yuzu aioli on the side. Mushroom toast was served on focaccia. The mushroom had a lot of nice flavor but for me soaked into the bread a bit more than I'd like. Personal preference! If you like mopping up sauces though, this is great. The egg on top was good too although this yolk wa not too runny. Egg sandwich. Love love love this. The pillowy brioche was great and it's a nice soft steamed egg with CRISPY mortadella. The swiss cheese was a nice touch but with the buttery bun a bit rich - however, pickled shallots made it just right. Will return for this dish solely. Burger was tasty, a tempura mushroom on top, yuzu aioli, nice and juicy. It is stacked quite high but good to try. I think we may come back one evening for dinner.”
