“Cute and trendy sandwich and bagel shop / bakery. Love the backyard patio, so much seating and there’s one fire place! There is limited indoor seating, and a bathroom too. The cornbread is fireeee, I had some of Brett’s. The chocolate babka looked fantastic, I’ll try that next time. It was very busy on Saturday around noon, I waited about 15min for my everything bagel with normal schmear ($5.44).”

“I stopped into Gertie on my way back home from the grocery store. I ordered the beef pastrami sandwich, matzo ball soup, and some latkes. The pastrami sandwich was honestly amazing. Way more flavor and better bread than over hyped places like Katz Deli. It’s very dangerous for my diet that this place is so close to my apartment.”
