Good Thanks is a Lower East Side restaurant/cafe that is passionate about all things breakfast, brunch, coffee! The food takes a healthy, fresh and creative approach, yet above all is super delicious. The griddled banana bread with burnt honey butter is life changing...
“This is my go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, and now dinner! Their dinner menu is so delicious and the service is wonderful! Elizabeth takes care of me every time I’m here. I had the Bright Eyes cocktail and the chicken Caesar salad—10/10!”
“thankfully there wasn't a crazy wait when we went. the food was delicious. we had the ricotta pancakes, which were the perfect amount of sweet, and fluffy, and always love the brown crispy buttery edges that you get with pancakes. we had the kimchi scramble with avocado, which was delicious. we also had the banana bread. i forgot the exact ingredients in it. but the butter that goes with it was almost like having a banana's fosters butter, with flaky salt. (fellow filipinos, it was like having banana-que). show stealer. our server was ben, who was lovely and very responsive. we enjoyed the experience and look forward to visiting again!”
“Absolutely wonderful. The kimchi eggs with salmon were next-level honestly haven’t stopped thinking about that dish for days. Everything tasted thoughtful, balanced, and made with care. It’s one of those meals that sticks with you and quietly demands a return visit. Definitely going back.”
“I’d give Good Thanks Coffee a solid 5! The avocado toast with scrambled eggs was excellent, and the drink — the black sesame latte — was honestly the best drink I’ve had in New York (simple but amazing!). Highly recommend!”
“A very sweet cafe with original brunch & breakfast dishes. We came here on a weekday fro a quick breakfast, ordered the blue bowl (basically a smoothie bowl with spirulina, banana & pineapple topped with fresh fruit and granola), the avocado toast with scrambled eggs, and their famous banana bread (served with burnt honey butter and sea salt). All of the food was delicious, but I'm not completely sure that the banana bread is really worth the huge hype around it. For drinks I had the black sesame matcha, which was bitter but delicious. The service was kinda slow, because most of the time there was only 1 staff member, handling both the orders of the tables, and managing the reception of people to the cafe, but it was quite good.”
