“I went to this bar for the first time this week and enjoyed it immensely. The atmosphere and drinks while watching the basketball finals was electric. But the evening would not have been complete without the amazing service throughout the night by our server, Leo. He treated us like we were a guest in his home. It is a refreshing change to experience a server genuinely wanting to please and treat our group like people and not a number. I am looking forward to going back and having him give us the same " welcome to my home" experience. My compliments to the entire staff. Keep up the great work”

“hosted a private party here on a friday evening. could not have been better. venue is beautiful, unique, spacious and charming and needs very little decor additions. carlita is a joy to work with -- professional, responsive, and committed to making your event vision come to life. the staff (from front of house to back of house) are kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious. can't go wrong here. thank you houston hall!!”

“Sitting in the original NY city FBI headquarters was pretty cool. Some interesting history to think about. I liked the long tables and benches that accommodates a big group. Had a very unique room upstairs for private parties.”

“We held our company holiday party at Houston Hall for the second year in a row, in December 2025 (full buyout). We almost never hold our party at the same location two years in a row, but HH was so awesome - the venue, the staff and the service - that we did a repeat booking and are so happy we did! It was our best party yet! The venue is very open/spacious and the furniture can be moved to fit the flow of the event, so its almost like working with a blank canvas, but with a space that has such great old NYC charm and character! Carlita, Isabel, and the rest of the Houston Hall team were great to work with. We came on site multiple times to try to figure out how we wanted our layout/decor, and they were very accommodating and helpful, and were responsive to the numerous questions we had as we were planning the event. Carlita connected us with some vendors they frequently partner with for decor, which was helpful as they knew what works best in the space. The day of the event, the HH team was very accommodating with us being on site all day to set up and decorate, and they even fed our team before the party started. During the event, the food was delicious and abundant, the drinks were strong, the service was efficient, the staff was friendly and helpful. Carlita and the other on-site managers really briefed their team so they all were in the loop about the flow and timing, etc. of the event. And their team even helped us to pack up all our decor. And on top of everything the price was very reasonable for a NYC holiday party. I couldn't recommend Houston Hall more. They helped us ensure our party was successful and a special night for everyone who attended. We look forward to working with them again in the future!”

“I came here after dinner for a few beers. It was early on a Friday night but the place was already packed. I couldn't find a spot at the bar to sit or any of the tables so I just stood off out of people's way. I saw someone who sort of looked like Kyle Mooney but I'm pretty sure it wasn't him. They have lawn games to play inside. As it's an old warehouse, there's enough space. Overall a place with good vibes.”
