“Dear Joji Box Team, I am writing to share my wonderful experience with my recent Uber Eats order. I ordered the premium box (priced over $60), and I was thoroughly impressed. While I have visited your Grand Central location for pickup in the past—and noted how helpful the neighboring security guard was when I was locating the shop—this delivery experience was even better. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were exceptional. The rice was perfectly prepared, allowing the flavor of the fish to stand out. Furthermore, the presentation was flawless. Many times, high-quality food from other restaurants (such as Kachitori) requires rearranging once it arrives, but your packaging ensured everything stayed perfectly in place. The box was well-sealed and fit perfectly in a beautiful delivery bag. I would order from you every day if I could. Thank you for maintaining such high standards for both your food and your delivery presentation. Best regards, DGA”
“Joji was a pleasant surprise. The execution, service, and atmosphere were all 10/10. If anything, the 90s playlist was a bit distracting 😌—I would’ve enjoyed something more relaxing—but it didn’t take away from the experience. I’ll absolutely return.”
“each dish was beautifully presented. the fish was fresh and there were some interesting bites like deep sea rockfish and a mushroom sushi. also a great uni and caviar handroll. also when you order hot tea you get free refills on your cup until the end of the meal which was nice.”
“Visited for a special occasion after seeing all the hype on social media ✨ The staff and chefs were very friendly. The appetizers were just okay, but the sushi was definitely the highlight 🙌 The rice was perfectly prepared, and the subtle charcoal aroma during the meal made the whole experience even more enjoyable 👍 That said, I probably wouldn’t come back not because it wasn’t good, but because I’d rather try other restaurants at this price point. The only downside was a lingering fishy smell throughout the meal, which was a bit distracting 😓 Without that, the experience would have been much better 🙏”
“We had a truly unique omakase experience here. The atmosphere feels authentically Japanese from the chef’s technique to the presentation and pacing of each course. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully plated, and genuinely delicious. The service was attentive and professional. However, it’s important to note that the price is extremely high. We paid $997 for two, before tip, which makes this one of the most expensive omakase experiences I’ve ever had. While the quality is excellent, the cost may not be justifiable for everyone. If you’re looking for a luxurious, authentic Japanese omakase and don’t mind splurging, this place is worth trying at least once.”
