“Someone said it correctly when they said this place deserves to be packed. Came here for Valentine’s Day and had such great service! They also had an excellent wine list. It was under $200 for two people with drinks, tax, and tip included. We got sooo much food. The tuna tartare was surprisingly one of the highlights but everything was so good and blew us away. The mussels come with fresh baked bread and wasn’t too heavy. The entrees were TO DIE FOR. The half chicken might be my favorite in Brooklyn and the sea bass special was so good and you get two filets which was great value. We got the banana toffee pie and it was the perfect sweet treat seal and I’m not even a big toffee caramel person. Will definitely be back!! Couldn’t recommend this place more”

The food is consistently delicious, the specials are always worth trying, and the service is warm and attentive. It’s hard to believe this place has only been open for 10 months because it already feels like a cornerstone of the community. The owners clearly care about what they do, and it shows in everything from the menu to the overall vibe. While the interior is a little kitschy, it adds to the charm, and the quality of the food more than makes up for it. With reasonable prices and such a welcoming atmosphere, Korkscrew Bistro is the kind of spot you hope every neighborhood has. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out.
