“Stumbled upon Mace thinking it would be a quick 1-2 drink stop, and I’m so glad I did. I’ll definitely be back! Ale, our bartender, was funny and easy to talk to. I was having such a great experience that I ended up making my husband come down from uptown to join me. The staff was incredibly friendly, the bites were delicious, and the rotating cocktail menu was inventive and fun. Between the two of us, I think we tried all but two cocktails in one visit.”
“A very unique bar with an interesting curated menu. The drinks are based on spices, leading to unique recipes, had The Vanilla a bourbon based drink that’s bitter, tropical and quite potent, also The Basil a gin based cocktail with a savory profile with tomato notes. The rest of the menu was diverse enough that it would warrant a return. Bartenders were all on spot, the place has a good ambiance and decor , it’s quite popular so you may want to do reservations if you don’t want to wait. Give it a try at least once it’s a clever menu worth trying.”
“We stopped in and realized they’re hosting their Miracle Christmas pop-up, such a fun surprise! A friend who visited recently didn’t even recognize the place because it’s now completely transformed with festive décor, including both Hanukkah and Christmas elements. I tried the Yippee Ki Yay along with two other cocktails, and the YKY was the standout by far. Prices were surprisingly reasonable, all under $20 even with the special event. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to immerse yourself in full holiday spirit in NYC.”
“This is actually my favorite bar in NYC. We come here almost every month literally became my summer addiction. Their milk punch is world class. The best part is their $12 happy hour always has milk punch. Service is great as well. Food amazing.”
“The cozy brick-walled atmosphere and chill music create an upscale lounge feel. The inventive, spice-forward cocktails stand out, and the service is attentive and friendly. It gets a bit louder later, but still enjoyable. Small plates are solid, costing about $35 per person. A great date night spot in the Village, though expect to pay for quality.”
