“I was forced to spend a day at JFK due to a flight cancellation. Looking for “fine dining” near JFK brough up Paris Café at the TWA Hotel - what a hidden gem! Jean-Georges' restaurant sits inside Eero Saarinen's old terminal at JFK, and the place is a perfect 60s time capsule — right down to the music. Beautifully restored. Service was friendly and on point, the food was great, and the whole thing just felt special in a way most airport-adjacent spots never do. Next time, I'm booking a room at the hotel!”

“Had a great experience here. Ordered White Russian, filet tenderloin, ice cream. My girlfriend got the chicken. It was one singular 6oz chicken breast. Seared well, just small I thought for $40. View was amazing. Service is a well oiled machine. No heat there DRESS warm. All glass and very drafty in February obviously! The potatoes for the steak tasted like they were a potato pellet base, or dehydrated potatoes they add water and butter too. They were okay. $60 for a 6oz filet and instant mashed potatoes I thought should’ve been upgraded or just do bake potato. The White Russian was perfect! The salted Carmel ice cream tasted burnt, vanilla was great! All in $255 for 2 people, 2 drinks, 2 entrees and side of French fries. Tip options they only give you 20%,25%,30%. Walked right in no wait. Loved the open concept kitchen. Chefs did well!”

“My husband and I enjoyed our new dinner experience in TWA Hotel’s Cafe Paris. Their medium salmon on a bed of spinach and potatoes was fresh, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My husband’s chicken with a few slices of artichoke hearts was also satisfying although the portion looked a bit small. Their crispy French Fries is very good but their price is stiff. They serve a good complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil and, at my request, a big cup of hot water in lieu of iced tap water. The ambience is nostalgic. Service is friendly and food was served promptly. With our JFK volunteer ID, we were given a 15% discount. We explored the hotel’s roof where there is a steaming hot swimming pool and a view of planes taking off and landing although from afar. Their conference and meeting rooms in the 1st floor have wide red-carpeted corridors and there were red-tiled walls. Not far from the stairs to Cafe Paris is a free TWA picture booth by the men’s room. There is relaxing piped-in music!”

“Larry was friendly and kind to answer questions about the hotel and cafe. The space is so cool and it's really easy to get to if you have time. I landed from Europe and cleared customs in terminal 4, walked out to the Air Train, went 1 stop to terminal 5. Then a quick walk to the front of the hotel.”

“Worst food in the area. If you are heading to a flight, youre better off eating in the airport. If you’re arriving, go literally anywhere else that’s not here. It’s insanely overpriced and the food is actually terrible. I got the rigatoni because I assumed it was hard to mess up pasta. But they managed to! Watery, and the meatballs were 100% pork which I feel should have been disclosed on the menu since it’s very unusual. The appetizer bread was stale. The only decent thing was the fries and the tap water.”
