“Was happily surprised that my partner and I were able to get a table here when it was packed. This restaurant is a lot bigger than what meets the eye when you first enter. The seating is pretty intimate. The menu is pretty cool. Ordered the schnitzel and fish kofta. Both were delicious. Was not personally a fan of the hummus but my partner enjoyed it. Getting the check did not take as long as I thought even though the restaurant was bustling. Will be back to try more dishes.”
“This spot is a must for Mediterranean food! Kicked it off with the purple rain cocktail - light and fragrant. We started with the hummus served warm, baba ghanoush, and lamb ragu over mashed potatoes. All come served with warm pita. All are a must. The shoo shoo chicken schnitzel was delicious, thin, crispy and a huge portion. Friends raved about the harissa burger and chicken shawarma Service is great. Spot is cute. Vibe is fun. Go!”
“One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in nyc! The food was outstanding, starting with the hummus, simple, warm, and delicate to the octopus that was cooked to perfection, super tender and absolutely a must-try. The schnitzel was also very good. We discovered this place by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. And don’t skip dessert—the dark chocolate mousse was unreal!”
“My wife and I had a really pleasant experience. Here we started with the CAESAR CAULIFLOWER CRUMBS SALAD Crispy cauliflower florets, cage-free soft-boiled egg, anchovy Caesar dressing, parmesan, romaine lettuce & parsley and for dinner I had the GROUPER FISH SHAWARMA Wild black grouper, caramelized onions, grated tomatoes, amba, parsley & tatbila sauce, served over tahini. It was excellent. I wasn’t expecting cubes of grouper, but it worked. My wife had the GRILLED BRANZINO Potato purée, served with sautéed green beans, blistered cherry tomatoes, capers, pine nuts & vinaigrette. The fish was moist and a nice simple dish. Service was friendly and efficient and not too pushy. Would definitely go back. Thanks.”
“It was okay. The service was kind of pushy, we were asked if we wanted to order food the second we sat down, no offer to go through the menu or if we wanted any recommendations. Kept pushing a second round of drinks on us as well. The food was like just okay, nothing super good but not bad.”
