“I had an unforgettable experience here at Sushi Ouji. Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. You walk through the door into a cozy space with a warm greeting from the staff. There is intimate counter seating where you can sit right in front of the chefs and watch them work their magic. Both the chefs and the rest of the staff seem to be highly knowledgeable on the ingredients used. They are as accommodating as they can be with dietary restrictions and even personal preferences. The staff is highly attentive and you are never left confused or wanting. I was a little nervous at first because I had never had omakase by myself but everyone was so friendly and made everything very comfortable for me. I enjoyed every single dish and piece of omakase that they served. Unreal how incredible everything is. The fish is fresh and high quality. The appetizers were plated beautifully. I had never had firefly squid before so that was a delightful treat. I think a few pieces that I would love to highlight are the O-Toro (Fatty Tuna), the Zuke Akami (Soy Marinaded Tuna), and the Kuruma Ebi (Japanese Tiger Shrimp). Those may have been my favorites but you cannot go wrong with anything here. Now for my standard comments. Location is very clean and well kept. There are about 10 counters seats and then a couple tables to the side. Music is playing lightly in the background. Very cozy and comfortable indoor seating.”

The quality of the fish was superb, the service was warm and attentive - really felt like the servers were plugged in and the ambiance didn’t feel stiff or overly formal. Each piece of fish was thoughtfully curated, fresh, and delicious. It’s a very treat yourself kind of meal that felt like an experience.”

“Had the most delicious omakase here on a date night (great place for both!) Each piece was done with a creative approach, which I appreciated. The Flavor Bomb was a definite fave. A burst of unique flavors that you wouldn't expect to go together....but they do, so well. Staff is very professional & friendly. Very reasonably priced at $150 per person, I'd definitely come back.”

The chefs were focused but friendly, taking the time to explain the dish to all customers.
