The quality and freshness of the fish stood out immediately and honestly some of the best we’ve had in NYC. Every piece tasted clean, buttery, and expertly prepared with great attention to detail. You could really taste the difference in quality compared to most sushi spots. The presentation was also beautiful and made the entire meal feel special. We tried multiple rolls along with nigiri and everything was consistently excellent. What really makes Suteishi stand out though is the overall experience. It’s the kind of place that works perfectly whether you’re going on a first date, celebrating something important, or just looking for a relaxing night out with amazing food. The ambiance is romantic without trying too hard, the service is top tier, and the food genuinely delivers. We left already talking about when we’re coming back. “I really enjoyed the variety on the menu. They offer sushi, ramen, and you can also choose grilled fish and grilled meat. The filet mignon I grilled myself was incredibly fresh and delicious. It’s a great place for a large group because everyone can find something they like — even if someone doesn’t eat sushi, there are plenty of other tasty options. There’s also a nice selection of cocktails. Overall, we were very happy with our experience. Thank you!”

“TLDR: Swell Seaport sushi spot. Nice little sushi restaurant tucked away in surprisingly rowdy Seaport. Liked the skewers the most unsurprisingly, but double shot was good to share and the blue grab gyoza was decent.”
