“The Lonesome Club has created the optimal aesthetic: they make you feel like part of their family with true Irish hospitality. The Irish Soda Bread, Fish & Chips, and Short Rib Shepherd's Pie were phenomenal. The setting is truly lovely, and the staff is very caring. 🇮🇪”
“Went here for my sister’s birthday and overall it’s absolutely worth going. The food is a straight 10/10. You cannot go wrong with a single item. Even the simplest dish is dressed and executed beautifully. We ordered across the menu — steak, fish, vegetarian — and every plate had someone raving. The kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing. Service could’ve been better. I mentioned it was her birthday and had to remind them about the candle, which slightly took away from the moment. The drinks were fine — the savory cocktails sound incredible on paper but didn’t quite land. Desserts were second tier compared to the savory menu. They looked polished, but didn’t have the same wow factor as the mains. Also slightly disappointing that nothing was comped for the birthday, though it didn’t ruin the night. Cute space, polished vibe — go early before it gets crowded. Still definitely recommend for the food alone.”
“Warm staff and good food. Happy hour oysters are really good. Ive been coming here since it opened and it keeps getting better in every category. Service, food and drink. The care the bartender puts into service with anyone at the bar is really top notch. The menu has also become better each month and keeping me coming back.”
“Absolutely love this place! The service is great; very attentive and asking how everything is during the meal. Nice atmosphere. The food is delicious. Drinks are great- we had The Dirty Jersey and a Guinness, of course. The Guinness pours are done right here; two step pour and they clearly clean the tap lines. Highly recommend this neighborhood joint!”
“We had a very nice evening here despite some service issues, like running out of Guinness (in an Irish pub?!) and getting our orders wrong and having the main dishes come with long delays. These things happen, not the end of the world, but a bit of a shame, we would have liked to have eaten together at the same time. The server admitted to us that the kitchen was ‘having a nightmare today’, which whilst quite obvious to us, the honesty was appreciated. We asked for a small concession for the inconveniences and they dutifully complied. I think it would have been stellar if that had been forthcoming from the restaurant itself without our prompting but either way it made us all feel a whole lot better about our experience and we were very grateful.”
