“My husband Paul and I were celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary yesterday and had an incredible experience here. The service is warm, friendly, welcoming and professional (always). The lamb shank was over the top delicious. We were treated with a complimentary glass wine and honestly this very kind gesture made our day. “After running 13.1 miles for the Brooklyn Half Marathon, I was rather famished and looking for something, anything, to quench my ravenous hunger. Our group of 8 arrived here and to our surprise we were met with an under 30 minute wait. We got seated and we ordered some drinks and then perused the brunch menu. I got the omelette with cheddar cheese, bacon, and tomatoes with a side of roasted potatoes and salad. To be honest, not a large enough portion for me. But, I did burn nearly 1700 calories from the run and my glycogen stores were starved for carbs. So on a normal day it would've probably been fine. The food was very good though, although it did take a bit of time to come out. Overall, would recommend.”
“Since Hamilton's is one of my absolute favorite places in Brooklyn, I was really excited to find out that they were opening another sister restaurant that was close to where I live. I got a chance to stop in last weekend for brunch, and I wasn't surprised that this restaurant is just like Hamilton's and Alchemy. It has a nice ambiance, and the food and drinks are fabulous. The service here is splendid as well. They have a good-sized menu, which is similar to Hamilton's, and the prices are reasonable. Hilltop Tavern is a great addition to the Windsor Terrace neighborhood, and I wish the team the best of luck at this location! I will definitely be back in the near future.”
