Una Pizza Napoletana is a Pizza restaurant in the Lower Manhattan neighborhood of New York.
“I love Una Pizza Napoletana! This was my third visit in a few months time. Everyone here is so nice and helpful! The pizza is a real work of art and it's so hard to choose which one to get. The taste of the sauce and cheese is exceptional and I love the light and airy high crust. It takes a lot of work to make pizza like this but they've mastered the craft. The pizza is served uncut/Italian style. I prefer to use a fork and knife for most of it but I've seen people cut theirs and pick it up as well. The almond cremolata for dessert is not to be missed! Can't wait to go back again.”
“Had one of the best pizza experiences here. The crust was perfectly charred and airy, with that authentic wood-fired flavor that’s hard to find. Every ingredient tasted fresh and balanced, especially the cheese and sauce. The atmosphere felt simple but genuine, letting the food speak for itself. Definitely a spot worth coming back to if you appreciate true Neapolitan pizza.”
“Definitely the best pizza in New York, and it’s an honor to watch Anthony handcraft each pizza right in front of you. You can tell how passionate he is about his work. The staff and service were outstanding, and it made you feel like you were dining at someone’s home. To top everything off, the dessert was perfect! Simple and not too sweet, just the way we like it. We will definitely be back soon!”
“Long review short, this alone was worth going to NYC for. Definitely get a reservation before you come. I don’t have any experience with not getting a reservation, this was my first time, but from what I heard if you don’t get a reservation, you might not get in. I got a reservation for October 30, 2025 at 5 o’clock. Reservations were sold out so soon after (less than two minutes, as I heard before. So be prepared!). I heard this is ranked the world’s best, and couldn’t wait to see if that was true. I had authentic New York style pizza, deep dish pizza, and made pizzas in a pizza oven myself before. We live about 3.5 hours away from NYC, and I love coming. This time, this pizza was 75% of what I was coming for! We spent all day there, and arrived at Una Pizza at around 4:47. At 5 o’clock, they opened and we were given a seat as close to the oven/kitchen as possible! I was pleasantly surprised by that and enjoyed the hour and a few minutes we had to wait for our food. We tried both of their Italian soft drinks. For our pizzas, we got a Bianca and two margarita pizzas. I came here, definitely expecting a different style and flavor profile compared to other pizzas I tried. I knew what it might taste like, but was still extremely amazed by the flavor of the high-quality ingredients they use. I usually like meat on my pizzas, but this pizza was no doubt the best pizza I ever had. Both were so good. I don’t think I could pick a favorite! One pizza is enough as long as you get maybe an appetizer and/or a dessert. I got the almond cremolata. I don’t care for almonds that much, but they weren’t overpowering and that was really good! It’s a decent size of ice cream, but I would prefer more, maybe 25 to 50% more, especially for that price. That’s just a preference of portion, not something that disappoints me or gives it less stars in my review. Our service was great. The food was great. And I have no complaints about the difficulty of getting a reservation, because now I understand why it’s difficult: There’s demand — because it’s the best in the world. Good job, Una, and thanks!”
“So i would have yo be honest I didn’t find the pizza to be the best in the world kind. It was a good pizza the flavours were there and the cheese was kind of extremely chewy, which personally I didn’t like that much but i guess some people do. But the burrata and the sorbet stole the show. I mean the burrata was something i never tasted. The taste the flavour the milkiness was like something i never had before. Went very well with the olive oil. Must try. Also the sorbet was the best i have ever had. I mean it was divine. The taste and the texture was unlike any. I would recommend people to go for the burrata and the sorbet if you can find a reservation that is. Also that fact that Chef Anthony makes every pizza himself really tells you about how much he cared about his art. The service was top notch.”
