“Had a wonderful experience at Yao Restaurant! The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. Every dish we ordered was fresh and well-prepared, and you can really tell they pay attention to quality. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was comfortable and great for both casual meals and gatherings. Overall, a great spot for Chinese food — would definitely come back again!”
“Great food at Yao's - definitely an upscale experience, the service was great, and the food was phenomenal. It wasn't even normal Cantonese dishes, they really did do their own innovations on Cantonese food, and they worked very well, rather than innovation for the sake of pretentiousness. They did a great job, and this was some of the best food that I've had in a long time.”
“Yao is such a hidden gem. I was researching Cantonese restaurants that could host a large party for a birthday dinner without crazy dining room fees and found out about Yao. The space is beautiful and they have round tables big enough to seat up to 14 people. They were very responsive when I called. Service was great all evening and they didn’t even charge me extra fees for bringing an external cake. They even gave us knives to cut and Tupperware for each guest to take a slice home. The food was great and I loved how comfortable and big the table was for my whole party. Also there’s a lot of Asians at this restaurant which means you know the food is good. Highly recommend!!”
“The typical Hotel Restaurant YAO Modern Cantonese Cuisine 富瑤 is not. Yes it's in the 2nd floor of the Marriott, and there are 4 elevators to get to the 2nd floor which none of our guest had problems with. Dinner for 4 Celebrating 2 Birthdays was an Epicurian Delight, right down to the insulated 2go Bags. Several other reviewers have mentioned that the food looks exactly like the pictures on the menu, down to the plates for most. What sets YAO apart is not only the cornucopia of flavors and textures, but the incredibly attentive Staff that are responsive not intrusive. I have captioned the pictures so you can see what the evolution of Cantonese Cuisine looks like. It's 2Bad there is no smell-a-vision or Scratch and Taste because I am sure you would be as delighted as we were with every dish. Thank you to the waitstaff and Kitchen for making this a Birthday Celebration 2 Remember!”
“had a wonderful time dining here recently. the servers were attentive and friendly, the food was excellent, and the interior was pretty. menu highlights: peking duck (the fire is such a fun touch), angus beef (super tender), salt baked chicken (very tasty), and the egg tart (must try!). my family left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. will definitely making our way back again.”
