Talula's

“We went to Talula's to celebrate my daughter's birthday on a Saturday evening. In our party was my 84 year old mom. Upon arrival, there was an issue with our reservation and a high-top table that initially created some stress on our part and the staff's part. However, the manager (wish I got his name) did some creative rearranging and got us seated in an alternate location -- He demonstrated such excellent customer focus and understanding for which he should be commended! As if that wasn't enough, we were seated in Joe's section and had the absolute BEST service possible. Joe was super attentive and engaging the entire time we dined. Never did Joe make us feel like we were a bother or "just another customer" -- He too demonstrated excellent customer focus. Lastly, the manager sent over a complimentary dessert in celebration of my daughter's birthday and perhaps also as gesture of goodwill after the initial frustrations -- This was totally unexpected but truly appreciated. After all was said and done, the experience at Talula's was a fantastic one! We were so pleased with the way we were treated, the delicious food we ate, and the experience as a whole. Thank you to all! We will be back!”

“Interesting experience. Highlight from what I can tell is the pizza and drink. Atmosphere also is low pretense and chic. It appears to be a regular joint, but it has more character than that. It’s got the patina right where it needs to, on the bar, floor, tables, and staff. I would go weekly if I lived here and I am positive that people do.”

“We've eaten here twice and both times haven't remembered to take a proper pic because when the food arrives we just want to eat it! This time we had the blueberry doughnuts (high recommend them), a biscuit side (very good), a margarita pizza, the mushroom pizza and the special lemonade pizza (all very good), soft scramble on toast (not bad), the clam chowder (I didn't have this but it was enjoyed). Service was great - very friendly. We couldn't get a reservation for a 6 person table at 12:30 and when we called they said they wouldn't be able to make one for us but we decided to walk by anyway and they were able to seat us. We'll definitely be back! And we'll definitely get those doughnuts again.”

“I always look for a busy place when I stop in an unfamiliar place and have no reservation. Walked in and they said there was a 1 hr wait but we were seated in about 25 minutes. Service and service were great. Only disappointment was the wine, for the price it was not good.”

“Absolutely love it here! Food is amazing and healthy pizza, all organic , waiters and waitresses are super friendly , can’t go wrong. I removed one star because the only horrid thing about this place is the front hostess with the short hair, glasses and bull nose ring. I believe her name is Ingrid. She’s the most unpleasant person, condescending, just overall not someone you look forward to greeting you right before a great meal. We come here pretty often and hope to not encounter her. Otherwise, talulas is awesome overall! Meatballs are delicious , all the desserts are amazing as well.”
