“Partner and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary here and everything was quality. We ordered the Fromage platter as a starter and were very happy with the selection presented. Partner ordered the ratatouille and I ordered the Mrs. Smith burger +egg and truffle fries. As we had plenty of driving and family to see ahead of us, we refrained from drinking any of the good looking cocktails and got sparkling water instead. Let the ratatouille sit for a moment as it is served in the pan it is cooked in and maintains heat for longer than you might expect. Burger was delicious, though I may order medium next time instead of medium-rare to save the bottom bun a bit. We look forward to coming back. Music volume started out at a good level but as more patrons came in the volume kept ratcheting up.”
“The service truly made this place unforgettable! Our server knew exactly what to suggest, sharing a little story for each dish along with perfect pairings. I was thoroughly impressed with their cocktails, mussels, and the French onion soup. The escargots didn’t wow me as much, as I’ve had nicer versions elsewhere, yet the outstanding service made us want to turn this into our regular date-night spot!”
“Great spot for fine dining. The menu is pretty diverse with some unique options and favorites! They have a a host of different seating areas. They have a great expansive bar menu and bar area and then a smaller parlor area wit a more intimate bar, in addition to booth seating. Very popular location for date nights and even business meetings and social gatherings.”
“Had a reservation for noon. Got there twenty minutes early and, despite an overwhelming amount of available tables, were told by the hostess to wait at the bar. The bartender was excellent, and the two of us enjoyed a cocktail as I watched the hostess seat 4 four tops before us. Noon came, the hostess continued to forget about us, we paid the bartender and left. There may have been wonderful food here, but we’ll never know and I personally no longer care. However, the nearby farmer’s market was full of quality products and friendly, gracious people. I give the farmer’s market five stars.”
“We dined here on New Year’s Eve and were disappointed with my husband’s steak. It was extremely tough, especially for a $68 dish, and only one bite was taken. My husband is not one to complain or send food back, so it was particularly disappointing that the issue wasn’t acknowledged. Given that the steak was barely touched, we would have expected the server to ask if everything was okay. While the cocktails were excellent and our server was otherwise kind, it was frustrating to pay full price for a dish that went uneaten. We understand times are tough, but at this price point, we expected the situation to be handled differently.”
