“My wife and I have been going to The Dirty Truth for years. I have read some negative reviews and I have to say I am surprised by this. We know the veteran staff who have been working there for years and they are truly kind and outstanding at their jobs. The food is authentic and outstanding along with the cocktails. 5 stars all around!!! Cheers!!”
“The Dirty Truth absolutely lives up to the hype. Maggie behind the bar was outstanding—super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We started with the pretzel and WOW… insanely good. The beer cheese was next level. The chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve had—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the coleslaw, chili crisp, and pickles tied it all together perfectly. The fries? Hands down the best French fries I’ve ever had. Even the root beer was great, and they have a huge selection of specialty drinks and beers to choose from. Awesome atmosphere, top-notch service, and incredible food. We’ll definitely be back.”
“The Dirty Truth is everything I look for in a restaurant. Every single dish was beautifully executed, made with high-quality ingredients, and you can truly taste the attention to detail in every bite. The flavors are thoughtful and balanced, and the presentation is absolutely impeccable. Beyond the food, the service is warm, natural, and genuinely welcoming — the kind that makes you feel taken care of without being overbearing. The overall vibe of the restaurant is incredible: vibrant, stylish, and effortlessly cool while still feeling comfortable. Hands down, the best place in Northampton. Don’t hesitate — just go.”
“My wify know this place since +10 years ago and she always will highlight them as the best for the "Duck nachos", she used to be close here and nowadays we're not too close. For me, the main thing here is the reserved beer list, I cannot share any special because everytime that we stop by, theyll have something different everytime. The food is phenomenal, for the people that knows North Hampton will know that is small portions, pricy, but this place worth every penny. This time we did not eat anything, just stop for the fav beer for the wify that is Cantillon and when we are around we'll stop to see if they have something available and we'll pay for the bottle ($65-$80 based on experience), style is lambic from Belgium. I cannot remember pretty well the eating experience due was probably 3 years ago, but I can say that I have really nice reminds here, if not wrong for lamb ribs and my wify something with duck. I do recommend this place 100%, I want to add that all the people or personale here its extremely friendly and talkative if you want too, always my experience is amazing, will have to put as place to must visit in NH.”
“Came in late on Valentine’s and immediately got a table without a rez, so that was super cool. When we tried to order, they were out of the first 3 to 4 things we chose. Understandable, it was late on a holiday. Our server was polite but inattentive, which again, understandable as I’m sure she was exhausted - serving on Valentine’s Day sucks. All of that aside, our food was just bad. It tasted bad, it was the wrong temp, and we didn’t have other options because they were out of everything. In particular, the bun on my chicken sandwich was practically liquid. The prices for what we ordered were exorbitant, even for Noho. Generally the vibes seemed like over priced New York transplant gentrified nonsense. I’m sure the folks who work here are as nice as folks anywhere else but I wouldn’t recommend this spot for a meal.”
