Gladstone Tavern is a New American restaurant in the Peapack and Gladstone neighborhood of Gladstone.
“Just sat down for lunch here and was greeted and served by Chris who is such an amazing man. He told me everything there was to know about the menu and a little bit of the history of the place. He was such a great person to talk to and I was honored to have him as my server. For Guinness lovers this place truly does have a “Proper Pour”. To start I had the crab tots which was plated so well you could’ve taken a picture and hung it in an art exhibition, and tasted just how it looked, some of the best I’ve ever had. For the main course I ordered the BLT with a side salad, absolutely amazing. And for dessert had the chocolate cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream which was also fantastic. Overall, incredible tavern, incredible experience, incredible service. If you are in the area this is a must visit. I will definitely be coming back”
“Gladstone Tavern is a hidden gem. The setting is quaint and everything about the place is inviting and warm. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Mathew. He will expertly craft delicious libations and can chat you up as though he is your long lost friend. Treat yourself and go there today. God Bless America! God Bless Blue and Gold! Remember Everyone Deployed Everyday!”
“The schnitzel was absolutely delicious, and the burgers were solid too. We really enjoyed the pretzel with cheese sauce—definitely a standout—as well as the flatbread. The atmosphere was awesome, and the staff were great—friendly, attentive, and really on top of everything. The only downside was the number of kids running around. It got a bit distracting since some parents didn’t seem to be keeping them in check. Other than that, it was a great experience and I’d definitely go back.”
“We have had many good meals here and continue to return time and time. The food is very good and prepared with a lot of care and attention. My suggestion for improvement is to offer more options for those with food allergies; otherwise, I highly recommend it as a local favorite.”
“The food was expensive but good. My only issue is how thin the chicken schnitzel was. For the price that chicken should be thick and with a side. No side comes with it. Ordered fries on the side, the fries were excellent. My friend enjoyed his duck ramen soup, he said it was way above his expectations. The blue berry dessert was warm and a bight crispy. With the lavender icecream and lemon curd, it was worth it.”
