“This was my first visit and hopefully it won't be the last. Jeremy greeted me warmly at the door and helped me pick out the perfect meal. Everything was delicious. 😋 I had garlic mashed potatoes, collard greens, fried and Thai wings, cornbread, and carrot cake. My waitress, Lourd, was attentive and quick, and made sure I had what I needed. I walked in starving and left full and completely satisfied. To top it off, they were playing all my jams in the background.”

“Incredible restaurant with good Vibes and great Service. My Server John made me feel really welcome and comfortable. Explained everything about the menu and specials and gracefully waited as I indecisively chose what to Order. I’ll definitely be back! My only downside was my Lamb was a little tiny for the price. But the Mussles were some of the best I’ve ever had. Also came on Jazz night and it was Beautiful 💜”

“While I've been here many times & even hosted a Happy Hour, I'm late to show love on Google but not on IG. Nestled on Baltimore Ave with years under its belt with the current owners, Booker's is still a West Philadelphia treasure! Ambiance was busy due to Fathers Day yet we were seated immediately with our reservations. I ordered the shrimp, chicken and waffles with peaches on the side. My gf got french toast and bacon. She didn't like the way the bacon was cooked. My beverage was the Ginger Jawn & that was a good sip. Ill be back for more meals soon!”

“✨Decent but needs improvement. I have to begin by saying, it’s a lovely local spot seated in a quaint Philly neighborhood. I’m new in town and they delivered the atmosphere. However, I was disappointed to find hair in my food. It was one coily strand and I had on my Sundays best wig so it was not mine. We need to be wearing hair nets in the kitchen;please bring this back. So I ate on the other side of plate because I didn't want to disrupt my lovely date. The food was ok, not as fresh or hot as I would have liked—nothing to write home about. I would give this place another chance because it was nice, but I'm not sure.”

“We were there for brunch. Food was decent but the location, service and atmosphere were all below standard. Drove an hour to this place based on ratings but I was disappointed. Would not recommend and will not come back. There were few items that were on the digital menu but they don’t serve anymore. E.g Biscuit and Gravy. Also they were out of tea and just serve coffee. No espresso drinks for brunch. Brunch drinks were good.”
