“Went for brunch today and it was SO good! Really inventive menu. I had the bone marrow toast and my bf had the fish sandwich. Our standout was the blue fin tuna nduja dip with fennel jam and fried sour dough. I’ll be dreaming about it forever.”
“Stopped in to try the mackerel nigiri and just wow. One of the best dishes I’ve had anywhere. Atmosphere was lively but cozy and our amazing server Emma was super knowledgeable and friendly and made it an unforgettable experience. 10/10”
“Absolutely phenomenal! Such a great place for an elegant dinner. The food was super good and because the plates are small, you get to try a lot of different things. The squash curry is something you should definitely try! Soo good. The service is literally some of the best I’ve ever received. I have an allergy and felt like I was taken seriously. Our server frequently came over to make sure/ask what I could eat and not eat to make sure I didn’t have a reaction. I also appreciate the allergy menu! Both bar and table seating. Overall, a must try if you’re in Portland looking for a nice, light (but filling) dinner.”
“The service was fast and friendly, even on a busy night. Despite the bustle, our needs were expertly taken care of. We popped in for drinks and dessert, and the toffee carrot cake was absolute perfection…seriously, order one for you and your spouse or be prepared to fight over it. The 'Death Becomes Her' cocktail actually paired great with the cake. Sitting upstairs by the kitchen window added to the experience, giving us a glimpse into their precision, teamwork and overall passion about food. Trust me, they know what they're doing. This place is phenomenal. Highly recommend!”
“We made reservations for a Monday evening for my husband’s birthday. We were sat immediately even being about 10minutes early, which was nice as the restaurant was definitely busy. The vibes were great, and we loved our server and drinks! Unfortunately, where things fell short was the food. We got 6 dishes, we loved the corn bread special and zucchini cake dessert. But, our other plates fell short on taste. Everything was overly salted and didn’t seem to highlight the main ingredients of the dish. And the crab salad was drowning in what only tasted like only mayo. The other dishes we got were as follows. Bone marrow toast, suckleing pig, summer squash/duck dish, and crab salad.”
