“Three friends and I (and our pooch) were extremely well looked after this evening at Eventide. Tam was a conscientious and professional guide, offering excellent advice and top notch service with hospitality and charm. Eventide is very lucky to have her! The oysters were all amazing and the lobster rolls are not to be missed. The tuna crudo, greens with nori vinaigrette and those chips (holy god, those chips…) were also unbelievable. Thanks to the kitchen for a few special treats that took this experience over the top. Thank you Tam and Eventide. We will be back for sure on our next trip to Portland.”

“It was my first time in Maine and everyone I knew in Boston was talking about how this was the go to place to try the best lobster roll and oysters and let me just tell you how good it was and I had to order 2 rows of everything. The staff here was so friendly and knowledgeable they recommended such amazing stuff to pair with the oysters. The lobster roll was the highlight of the whole meal, never in my life had a lobster roll that made me want more and more .”

“Eventide was the perfect place for my first raw oyster experience! The oysters were absolutely delicious, and honestly probably the best place I could have tried them for the first time. The lobster roll and clam chowder were also amazing. We did have to wait for a table, but it was completely worth it — especially once we got a spot outside. “Had a wonderful lunch time experience at Eventide this past week (04/15). Blaire was a kind and knowledgeable server who explained the nuances of the oysters and menu to us. I had a delicious clementine Allagash Kolsch and all of the oysters available. The wife had the brussel sprout salad, Blanc de Blanc wine, and the kid had the fish nuggos and root beer. The oysters were top notch, each unique in their own way - some pure brine and grit, some bright and vivacious, and served with the coolest horseradish icee - but I preferred to eat them without the toppers. We got to sit outside, and it was a lovely day! Cannot wait to return.”
