7 Adams, helmed by husband-and-wife chef duo David Fisher and Serena Fisher, offers a culinary journey that transforms the familiar into uniquely crafted and gorgeously presented dishes. A deeply personal project, the restaurant honors the spaces where David’s desire to cook first took hold, its name referencing his childhood home in Upstate New York. Drawing on local produce and capturing nuanced seasonal moments, 7 Adams also celebrates Serena’s roots in Northern California.
“The place is cute. The 5 course dinner for 2 persons is phenomenal. We were able to actually try 10 different dishes, one better than the other. 2 menu’s and 1 bottle of wine, everything ended at the perfect moment, with a full belly and 2 empty glasses. Service was impeccable and Kareem (hopefully I spelled it correctly) was as attentive as caring, strongly rec commended for a tasty & delicious experience. One of the top meal in the city in the last 3 years. Strongly recommended.”
“Came here for a beautiful pre-show dinner with a friend. I was running late from work and called ahead to let them know the ETA and the staff was very accommodating which I really appreciated. We chose the five-course prix fixe menu, which opened with the softest Japanese milk bread paired with house-made butter, a sturgeon dip (we swapped in caviar, rough week lol), and a delicate crudo. For my next courses, I went with the crab cavatelli (SF crab season!), followed by the Mt. Lassen trout. The bone broth that came with the trout made the dish so hearty on a chilly SF night and the skin on the trout was cooked to crispy perfection, I don’t think I’ve ever loved fish skin that much. I finished with the toffee cake topped with cranberry gelato. My friend she chose the aged lamb and coffee cake (?) for her last two courses and loved it as well! Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, with clean execution and layers of nuanced flavor. The heated, enclosed terrace created a cozier, more intimate atmosphere than the main dining room, thanks to its lush hanging vines. The only drawback was a nearby large table whose loud, and unfortunately cackling, group slightly disrupted the otherwise lovely experience. Perhaps reducing the number of guests/large groups at the terrace area might help with this issue. Will definitely go back!”
“An amazing Michelin-star spot in San Francisco; elegant, relaxed, and surprisingly accommodating. They were flexible with our slightly off-timed reservation, and the servers knew every dish like they’d cooked it themselves. We had a few special requests (no pork, non-alcoholic versions of a few items), and they handled everything effortlessly. We were celebrating a family member’s first job, and they made it extra special with a surprise pumpkin cheesecake ice cream topped with sprinkles. Each of our 5 course menu items came out perfectly paced, every plate looked different, and the flavors kept surprising us in the best way. We went in the second week of October, and the menu had just been updated with some fall-inspired dishes; a lovely seasonal touch that made the whole experience even better. Easily one of the more affordable Michelin-star restaurants in the city; and a must-try if you’re in San Francisco for any kind of celebration.”
“we had a very nice group dinner in the terrace, the menu was curated by the collaborating chef of the week with dishes to share. the starting canapés were inventive, but some bites tasted a bit stale. the milk bread was soft and the ragu was really fresh and hot. the chicken was a bit dry, and also didn’t give as big of a kick as the tuna canapé did. portions were plentiful overall.”
“Tried 7 Adam for the first time and had a great experience. The food was good with excellent quality and clearly made with care. Service was attentive and welcoming, which always matters. The flavors leaned a bit more subtle than bold, but everything was well executed and enjoyable. It felt like a solid introduction to the kitchen and the concept. I would definitely come back, especially if the menu evolves toward more adventurous flavors. Overall, a very positive first visit.”
