“My partner's co-workers recommended Binchoyaki, and it didn't disappoint! The staff was very friendly and attentive, helping create a comfortable atmosphere. There were also a lot of items on the menu, which made deciding difficult. We ended up ordering a few dishes that were all delicious! Some of the flavors reminded me of dishes I tried in Tokyo, so it was a nice walk down memory lane. We will definitely visit again!”

“Great great great flavor. I've lived in Sacramento for 2 years. Probably the first restaurant I am blown away by. Not only does it feel actually cool, but meat and veg are high quality. Everything was cooked perfectly with nice crispy edges and tender inside. We ordered nearly half the teppanyaki menu over the course of the night. No misses. A meat-lover's paradise but a vegetarian can build a full meal here from veggie skewers and sides. My top six recommendations are nankotsu sauce (crispy knee cartilage), pork belly sauce, arabiki sausage salt (hot mustard my heart), mochi bacon sauce (fun, chewy), enoki mushroom bacon salt, and kamo negi sauce (duck breast w leeks & wasabi). Classic negima salt (chicken thigh scallion) and potato salad are also winners. Draught rice lager ($9) was crisp and effervescent. Orion rice lager in a can ($5) hit just fine. Service was super welcoming. Seat at the bar was fun bc you can watch the grill and ask for things that look good. Staff was open to questions and small requests (ice for the beer!) since it wasn't too busy on a Tuesday. My wallet is hurting just a bit, but my stomach is happy. I appreciate the automatic $20% tip. Saving up my pennies to come back.”

“We called the last minute and got lucky to have a table for 6. They have both in door and out door seating. We got an outdoor seating with one torch and one heater by our side. We ordered kids two ramen and one fried veggies. We ordered one Dandan men, chicken skin fried rice, soba fish, and many skewers. The portion is ok but the taste is pretty decent. The only thing that you want to be aware is the wait time. They are vey busy so you just need to be patient with them. The lady who served us was very sweet and helpful. Very good service!”

“I saw jar of house made plum wine right after came in, then I got good feelings. We had veggie set, this part was average, I would suggest to switch garlic and onion to something like corn or mushrooms, just feel that $25 for a set should have more veggies. The rest are all amazing, the chicken lunch bento was very tasty! The house made pickle was amazing! Whoever grilled the meat, understand the meat! I have to mention the service, she’s great! Friendly and helpful.”

“The food was excellent overall, and we truly enjoyed the service—the staff was attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. The only reason I’m deducting a point is that a 20% gratuity was automatically added for a party of two. While I understand this practice for larger groups, I believe tipping should ultimately be left to the customer’s discretion.
