“Food here is mind twistingly great (in a weirdly good way). Like I got it, it's pan Asian. But their combination is amusing. Acar (Indonesian) with chairman mao style (Chinese) roasted satay (south east Asian). Dumpling that feels like it's Chinese but has a twist with what feels like Japanese bulldog sauce? Thee is this crazy beef too I think? Fritter is great too (it's not Indonesian style, it's fried fried corn but still taste moist. Idk how they make it) . But I feel like Indonesian version is what I feel will hit home more.”

“Unreal happy hour. Absolutely delicious, fresh oysters with incredible mignonette. Lovely plating of even single items perfect for the solo diner (though respect to the lady beside me who ordered the platter for one— I am also jealous). Literally everything is insanely good: the ribs, the bao, the skewers (probably mushroom was the weakest— it’s just a grilled shitake), the fritters, the squash dumps are in my dreams. Even the surprise accompaniments like house pickles with skewers and coleslaw with the ribs were SO GOOD. And the cocktails are also amazing, I don’t know which is my favourite but each of me and my friends liked different ones best: the old fashioned and the margarita and the mule. Great deal on the sake cup too! I kinda want to gate keep this, but I’ve been a few times and it’s not busy (how?!?). Bartending staff also absolutely lovely and friendly chatting with all the patrons to show great hospitality. Amazing amazing amazing.”

“Just had the best dinner at this place after so many years! The food was absolutely amazing, and the drinks options were endless. They even have bar seating, so you can enjoy your drinks and eat at the same time. The ambiance is just perfect, it's so cozy and inviting. You can totally relax and unwind here. If you're looking for a great spot for dinner, this place is a must-visit. The staff is super friendly and made the evening even better. Definitely going back soon!”

“E&O Kitchen and Bar is a great spot with a cool, lively vibe that fits perfectly with its Union Square location. The space feels energetic but comfortable, making it an easy place to settle in and enjoy your time. The food was really good, and we tried a variety of dishes. Everything came out well prepared and flavorful, which made sharing and tasting multiple items a fun part of the experience. The menu has a nice range, so there’s something for different tastes. Service was solid throughout the meal. We had reservations, which I always recommend anywhere you go in San Francisco even if it doesn’t seem necessary. It made the whole experience smoother and stress-free. E&O Kitchen and Bar delivers good food, a fun atmosphere, and reliable service. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Union Square area.”

“I’d rate this around 3.5 stars if possible. The food was decent overall, but most dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. We ordered the shrimp mango salad, chicken pad Thai, and two Lunar New Year specials — the fish with chili oil and the long noodles. I don’t recall the exact names, but I was surprised that even the fish entrée had a noticeably sweet flavor.”
