“This was the absolute best food I have eaten. My Buffalo Trace old fashioned was smokey and perfect. My wife had the eggplant rolatini, mother in law had the veal parm. All was delicious, the marinara was excellent and the warm bread and oil...never go wrong. I order the pork ribeye...it. came out and I looked at it like a pork chop, a bit of disappointment by calling it a "ribeye",,,,then I took my first taste of culinary heaven. It was the most melt in your mouth delicious thing I have ever tasted. The slight char, the juicy meat, perfect compliment of sauce. It was utter perfection on a plate. I missed the food when I was done eating it..two days later, I still miss it. Fantastic job to the exception staff at Prima. Thank you all!”

“My first time at Prima Italian Steakhouse proved to be a great option for lunch in Brownwood Paddock. I began with the Lobster Bisque and our server brought out fresh bread. My friend ordered Roast Beef Au Jus with mashed potatoes and I ordered a Margherita Pizza. My friend and I shared from our respective plates and all of our food was delicious.”

“Went to a lunch time, December 2025, Painting with a Sip here. A friend reserved our spots. Very fun time. The service, food, and wine were all good as well. I am GF with my diet and they accommodated me nicely. We were there for a solid 3 hours. The cost was $59 per person. A pretty good deal I think. Looking forward to doing it again.”

“They were able to get us in about 20 minutes earlier than our reservation, which was convenient and very nice. Our waitress Nyoka was very pleasant, helpful, and outgoing. She was a great server and was prompt to address questions and issues. The atmosphere was pleasant with a definite upscale feel. The prices reflect that upscale demeanor, though I am overall a little disappointed in the food. They serve one small loaf of bread with butter and seasoned oil at the beginning, which was the size of a large hot dog bun, pre-cut into two small end pieces and two larger center pieces. It was delicious, but it only gave each of the 4 people in our party 1-2 bites of bread while we waited, which seemed very weird. The Prosciutto Brocconcini app was decent. The prosciutto was very salty and seemed like it might have been overcooked though, and I had to mix it with the balsamic spinach to even out the flavor. I enjoyed it well enough, but my partner did not and neither one of us would get it again. The red pepper and tomato soup with gouda was good, but not as flavorful as I was expecting. There was not enough gouda to make it more creamy, and because they just dropped a pile of thin shaved cheese in one spot, it melted together more than dispersion in the soup. The red peppers and other blended ingredients were very mild and lost in the tomato flavor. It was still a good bowl of tomato soup, but I also would not order this again as I can buy better soup from the store for half the price. The Eggplant Rollatini was probably the best eggplant I have had, so for that reason I would recommend it. It was lightly fried and rolled in ricotta cheese which increased the richness of the eggplant flavor and made it creamy. Unfortunately the amount of eggplant is very overshadowed by the amount of past, which was also not flavorful at all. The shaved cheese was again dropped in a heap so you had to mix it around well. The marinara mostly just tasted like tomato. Minimal taste of onion, garlic, and oregano could be detected, but it was very underwhelming. I do think these well be good leftovers as I have the seasonings to spice it up, but I am very disappointed in the quality of the pasta side as compared to the eggplant side which was great. Prime Rib dip was good. The steak was cooked well, though a few pieces were a little dry. The bacon jam seemed like it was missing. The provolone was spread evenly and melted nicely. The au jus was too salty so we didn't use it. The fries were also very good. Crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside like a bite sized baked potato. Tiramisu for dessert was very good. It was whipped so it was light and airy rather than being heavy and dense. The piece was decently sized and enough for the four of us to have a couple bites each. If we are in the area again we would likely try another nearby restaurant rather than coming here again because we don't feel the overall quality of the food was worth the price.”

“First meal at Prima. First impressions mean a lot, we were seated and subsequently greated by our waiter who took our cocktail order. The overall impressions of the restaurant are beautiful upscale dining. Food was great I had the cabanara with meatballs found the meatballs to be tastfull however hard in texture. Pizza was also ordered they indicated it was the best pizza they have had from the villages. Salmon was ok. Afterwards our waiter abandoned us and left us with empty water and drink glasses. When we finally recieved our drinks the order wasn't correct. Not sure what the disconnect was. Overall this is a beautiful restaurant and perhaps it just was an off night”
