Chamberlains Pony Bar is a Tex-Mex restaurant in the Fashion District neighborhood of Toronto.
“Great staff! I initially visited while there was one bartender and no servers present. He handled everything professionally and well coordinated. Their old fashioned and Chamberlain burger are amazing! I just came back for the second time today. It's busy with more staff but the quality of service is just as great.”
“We walked into Chamberlain’s on a whim and ended up finding one of our new go-to spots. Great drinks, delicious food, and a cozy Old English-style pub vibe with warm lighting and booth seating. The menu is small but everything is done really well — the wings fall off the bone and the chips & queso dip go way beyond expectations. The service makes this place even are better. Siobhan was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our experience. WHEN I go back, I will be making a special request for her.”
“Searching for a new spot for our monthly brunch while Puppy gets groomed, came across this hidden gem ! They have just recently started to open at 12 pm instead of 3 pm. We were welcomed by the hostess and server with big smiles and friendly attitude. Being the first ones, had the place to ourselves, chose the patio as was a near perfect afternoon and just the right temperature. The bar is done beautifully, cozy booths and great patio. Our server - Siobhan was lovely, great conversationalist and fun. We had Ketel one and Sodas as well as an Appletini Martini which was delicious. The Fish tacos were perfectly cooked , excellent flavours and the Chorizo Quesadilla was just as tasty and flavourful. We had mentioned it was my partner’s birthday month and were pleasantly surprised by a couple of tequila shots on the house !!!! Definitely a place to visit more than once .”
“Chamberlain’s Pony Bar is a cozy little gem right at King and Portland—warm, welcoming, and effortlessly casual. The vibe strikes that perfect balance between laid-back and polished, making it an easy choice for both after-work drinks and a relaxed night out. Service was genuinely friendly and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. The drink selection is thoughtfully curated, with a solid mix of classics and creative options that make it easy to find something you’ll enjoy, whether you’re in the mood for a cocktail, wine, or a simple pour. A great spot to settle in, unwind, and let the night unfold naturally. “The worst place in the area. Extremely rude service, I think it’s the first place in Toronto where I didn’t leave a tip. Watered down Guinness, the worst margaritas ever, just look at the glass they are serving it. Bartenders were like what do you want attitude, hostess was like super rude.”
