“This was a happy finding. This is one of the best meals we've had on our road trip. Extremely flavorful, I had the shrimp scampi that was to die for. My husband had the braised beef pasta again ridiculously good. I highly recommend! Our server outside was amazing. And it is a reasonable amount of money for an excellent meal.”

“We loved our first visit! Menu for restaurant week was fun. I did try the calamari and Cesar salad outside the restaurant week menu and they were fun, different, and delicious. Each dish had its own unique taste. The crispy chicken is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Server was awesome, transparent, and made the visit fun. It is a little tight on space inside felt a little cramped but awesome vibe inside. Best Italian style foods in TC!!! HIDDEN GEM. 💎”

“Update 1/8/26- Went back on 1/3/26 for lunch to celebrate completing chemo and radiation. Our server, Miyoshi, was great and sat us at the end of the restaurant so I can be far from people and potential sickness since I was still immunocompromised. She also gave a most delicious cheesecake on the house as a congratulatory gift! While going through treatments, I knew I wanted to go back to Traverse City to eat at The Flying Noodle when it was over. It was the silver lining I was looking forward to and no surprised, they exceeded all expectations with their fabulous food and staff. Thank you! Went in for dinner on Friday and we loved it so much, we went back the next day for lunch! The food is so fresh and the homemade pasta is so tasty and perfectly cooked. We tried four pasta sauces and four different apps—They were all so delicious, I wish I could go back again. Staff were great and they even recognized us when we came back the next day. Our bartenders, April and a gentlemen the night before, were friendly and had great recommendations. The people we met at the bar were great, too! Can’t speak more highly of this place. You won’t regret coming here!”

“Absolutely love this restaurant! It is our favorite in all of Traverse City - truly the best Italian you can find anywhere! It is one of our go to spots (we go all the time). We went there tonight to celebrate my mom’s birthday and Armani made it truly such a special and memorable evening that we will always remember and cherish as a family. Miyoshi is also simply amazing!! If you want the best Italian and best service you truly cannot find anywhere better than The Flying Noodle. Everything we have ever ordered here is spectacular and they are truly doing everything right. We love their classic marinara, cheese bread, and meatballs just to name a few things (their sauce is seriously legendary)! So much love for this little restaurant and their entire team that goes above and beyond each and every visit to create the best experiences!”

“The food was good. I would go back for the apple brie appetizer alone! My spouse loved the bolognese. I liked the alfredo sauce, but wish my chicken was a bit thicker. Overall, a great atmosphere! We had excellent service by Jake. We will be back. Reservations are a must.”
