“We recently hosted a private party for 23 people at Mermaid Winery, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The venue was absolutely perfect for our group, beautiful, cozy, and private, with such a welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Jennifer, the owner, was incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind throughout the entire planning process. She made everything feel easy and truly made us feel special and taken care of the entire evening. The food was amazing, and there was so much included for the cost. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Our guests kept commenting on how much they loved both the food and the overall experience. Highly recommend Mermaid Winery for private events, birthdays, going-away parties, or any special gathering. We’re so happy we chose this venue and would absolutely host another event there again!”

“We visited Mermaid Winery on Shore Drive on a Friday afternoon around 3pm. We received a warm greeting from the staff. Our server, Betty is also a sommelier and has an extensive knowledge of the wine offerings and pairings. We sat outside which is fully covered and is a beautiful space. I ordered a soup du jour which was a seafood chowder— broth based, filled with bits of tender seafood pieces. The soup was delicious and a great start before a meal. I also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip— it’s served hot with melted Parmesan cheese throughout. We ordered the biscuit plate. The biscuits are huge, brown and a little crusty on top yet soft inside. I enjoyed the homemade strawberry jam and the honey on my biscuit. We ordered wine flights that gave us the opportunity to taste several different wines prior to purchasing our bottles. I purchased La Doria Moscato which is semi sweet and bubbly. Ask your server about the bottle discount.”

“We really enjoyed this restaurant, we had the Duck with mashed potato and the lamb with mashed potato which were very tasty, the waiter was very friendly and help us with choosing the best in the menu. I didn’t like that the bathrooms did not have a changing table to change our baby’s diaper and put us in an uncomfortable situation. But apart from that great restaurant for lunch or dinner.”

“I planned a Christmas party for fellow massage therapists, and decided to have it at the Mermaid Winery and Restaurant. I'm so glad I did! The food was amazing. The service was even better. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I couldn't ask for anything better. To be able to get the amount of food that we got and the Ambiance with service was first rate. Will definitely be back again!”
