Dinner is now a 7-course menu priced at $118/person. We added a 3.75% I-82 Fee to all checks. This fee helps us cover the increased labor costs that come with Initiative 82, the new DC law (now in effect) increasing the tipped minimum wage. For additional information about the I-82 Fee, please refer to the FAQ section on our website.
“The experience here is parallel to none! The courses all works of art and delectable! I cannot say enough about how amazing it is! You must visit this hidden gem! Those with food allergies need not worry. The team took such amazing care of me and my experience was not impacted negatively at all. I was able to enjoy the flavors of all courses with slight adjustments. Thank you Little Pearl DC!”
“We highly recommend this restaurant. It felt like a true masterpiece. There were a few moments during the meal that genuinely touched my heart and made me feel at home. We came from New York to visit, and the food was truly outstanding. It is rare to find that kind of fresh, delicate umami flavor—the kind many Chinese diners really appreciate, but that is often missing in contemporary Western cuisine. The restaurant creates a beautiful balance of sweet, sour, and salty flavors, especially in the way it uses sweetness and acidity. While a few dishes were a little lighter on spice and bitterness than I personally prefer, and items like the squash and pork were slightly dry for my taste, the overall execution was still deeply impressive. I tend to prefer textures that are crisp on the outside, tender within, and almost melt in the mouth. The portions were just right, every dish felt thoughtful and balanced, and the staff were knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. This is absolutely a place worth visiting, especially for anyone who cares deeply about flavor.”
“Little Pearl was our tenth collected Michelin star and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was full of flavor and all very unique. The presentations were beautiful and the service fantastic. Highly recommend!”
“Top tier DC restaurant focused around chef prepared 7-course tasting menus. Highly creative, innovative, and delicious. Excellent for dates when you are trying to impress someone or for celebrating something major.”
“Overall good experience but I do have some notes! First course was the angel egg and asparagus tart. I absolutely loved the angel eggs, the white meringue like part had a sweet after taste that balanced the creamy yolk part perfectly. The asparagus tart may have been the star of the entire night, the pineapple was very refreshing with the asparagus. The New England clam chowder was good but it is definitely one of those dishes where you should eat everything together each bite. If you eat anything separately it isn’t balanced at all. Amazing though! Another star was the spring egg custard, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It practically melts in your mouth and the peas give a great crunch. Surprisingly the wagyu beef salad was not our favorite. The flavors were great, but a few of our pieces had gristle or were just straight fat ends with no actual meat to it. With the price and high rating for this place we didn’t expect this. It’s mostly why I ranked it a 4 overall. Lastly the palate cleanser and dessert were stellar. I love toasted coconut so it may be one of my top 5 desserts of all time! We left the restaurant satisfied but not overly full. This may sound big back but I would’ve loved either slightly bigger portions or one other course! With the price I do love leaving the restaurant feeling like I’ve got my money’s worth!”
