From the shores of New England to the sun-drenched beaches of Baja California, Millie’s menu features coastal fare and cocktails with hand crafted dishes borrowing the best from both coasts. In an execution of fast & fresh delights, Nantucket’s easygoing dockside vibes are delivered tableside, earning it accolades as one of the best restaurants in DC. “I had such a wonderful time here! The atmosphere felt like a total beach vacation right in the city. The fish tacos were perfectly seasoned and tasted super fresh, and the staff was so friendly and quick to get our order out. It is definitely going to be my new favorite spot to grab a bite with friends whenever I want something that feels light and delicious.”
“I have eaten here many times. Food is always good. Not the biggest menu but hopefully you’ll find some thing you like. We had French toast , a Cesar salad with shrimp and a lobster roll. Came back another time and had pancakes and scrambled eggs. The pancakes were a bit uncooked in the middle. The eggs were good. Came back again and had biscuits which were very good. Also had the Cesar salad with shrimp which I like. It was very crowded. We were here Saturday at 1 o’clock and there was a 30 minute wait and we ate at the bar top.”
“I had a really pleasant visit and loved the bright, airy feel of the space. The menu has a great mix of classic favorites and some creative twists that made it hard to choose just one thing. I ended up going with one of the signature salads and a side of fries, and both were fresh and seasoned perfectly. It’s the kind of place that feels high-quality but still casual enough for a relaxed lunch with friends. The service was steady and friendly, and even though it was quite busy, we didn't feel rushed at all. It’s a solid, reliable spot for a fresh meal in a great atmosphere.”
“A group of us came for a weekday lunch. We had a reservation which was definitely needed as the place was packed. The food was done well and everyone found something they liked on the menu. The quantity of food on each dish was quite large as were the prices. So the only way to get a reasonable size lunch for a reasonable price was to order an appetizer. The person who did so enjoyed her grilled Swordfish Kabob which came on a small bed of salad leaves. The quesadillas were delicious but each one would easily serve two people. Even the apple blue cheese salad was too big to finish. The server was good about providing to go boxes, so the restaurant must be aware of the large size of the portions. The place did not do separate checks so we were forced into figuring out how much to chip in.”
“I am not well versed in I-82, but what I do know is that I get a check and unbeknowst to me, I get this charge. Don't do that. Just raise your prices. I get it, but this practice is not transparent for your customers and therefore won't end well. I love the atmostmospehre here. The steak and eggs, awesome. But then I get this financial surprise, and now I question whether I should come here. No bueno.”
