“This place is awesome. The hostess sat us right away. She told us the specials & return with our drinks just that fast. We ordered the Italian dip-in roast beef sandwich/fries. Absolutely delicious. Almost forgot the soup, cream of crab. To die for♡ We couldn't finish our lunch, so we took it home for dinner. We topped it off by buying a cute little delicious carrot cake & my friend had the first thing on the dessert menu. He loved it too. Sorry I was more interested in my cute little carrot cake 🎂 The atmosphere is casual. There is a lot of memorabilia(?) They also have a store! The bathrooms are very clean & handicap accessible.”

“Excellent meal and standout service. The French onion soup was hands-down the best around - generous portion, perfectly crispy on top, with the cheese melting over the edges exactly how it should be. The Cape May scallops were solid, cooked well, and flavorful. We also had the Wisconsin cheddar chicken sandwich and a classic cheeseburger, both very good. What really made the experience though was the service - absolutely stellar, attentive without hovering, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, a great meal, which honestly feels hard to come by around here sometimes. We’ll definitely be back.”

“I stick to two items that never disappoint: the French Onion soup served in a crock and the hot roast beef w/horseradish and au jus for dipping. The onions are caramelized perfectly so they don't get mushy. The roast beef is lean, tender, and flavorful and the fresh horseradish gives plenty of bite. Hasn't changed in 20+ years; comfort food that spans the generation!”

“I go there mainly for their French onion soup!! Delicious. My husband got the N.E. clamped chowder which he said was very good. We also got cheese steaks which were big and tasty. Fries were great too. It was wine Wednesday and we got a $15 bottle of wine. Pretty good.”

“Was looking for a quick bite to eat after taking our kids to the zoo and stopped here. Super cute little place and the food was decent. There was a woman though who I think was responsible for table clearing (not the waitress, she was great) who kept coming up to our table and making weird remarks to my kids. Saying things like she was going to eat there food and that they better watch out before she takes them away. The first time I brushed it off but the second and third were extremely uncomfortable. I honestly grabbed my son at one point because she got so close to him and was in his face, touching him. It's really unfortunate because I thought the food was pretty good but my family and I just felt so uneasy. I'm not sure if I'd go back but I wouldn't recommend if you have little kids.”
