Cooper Mountain Vineyards is a family venture that took root in the Willamette Valley over 45 years ago. We never set out to do anything other than make organic and biodynamic wines that expresses this special place where we grow grapes – sunshine, cool nights, fresh fruit that results in wines that are lively but also show soul. When Cooper Mountain Vineyards got its start, there were just a handful of winemakers in the Willamette Valley. Much has changed and growth has been exponential in Oregon’s wine producing regions, but our love for the land and producing lovely wine hasn’t changed one bit. It’s what we do. It’s who we are. Our land is our life and our life is our wine. Join us at our original winery location in Beaverton, Oregon. “A wonderful experience!!! Everyone was so nice and the wine was delicious. Very professional. A relaxed and enjoyable time!”
“The wine tasting was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely! Sarah was super knowledgeable and even gave us a “wine tasting 101” session when we shared it was our first time doing a wine tasting. They’re also open to walk-ins for the tasting if you call ahead!”
“What a great tasting room! We learned so much from Matthew. Wow, the knowledge, love and dedication he has put into learning the wine making process is unremarkable. The wine from this vineyard is some of the best wines I’ve ever tasted and the experience we had from Matthew was second to none. I highly recommend!”
“So impressed with the quality, service, and demonstrated knowledge at this cute winery! Incredible history, awareness of environmental impact, and went above & beyond in explaining each wine to us as we had a tasting. We learned a lot but more importantly, enjoyed AMAZING wine. The biodynamic process made much more of a difference than expected to the flavor, and we couldn’t stop raving about every wine we tried - especially the rosè, which isn’t normally our favorite! We walked away with a few bottles (which worked out as a certain spend will cover your tasting fee). Great service, great quality, and all around a great experience. It is small, so I would definitely call ahead or book a reservation for a tasting. Not sure what other reviews are referring to in terms of the service or bugs? We didn’t experience any of that and saw no sign of it - maybe just a fluke. It is true that there isn’t a lot of food, just charcuterie, so maybe grab lunch elsewhere and then head over for a tasting!”
“One of the oldest wineries in the area. Wines are mostly pinot noir and an unusual white, Tocia Friulano. Inside and outdoor seating. The tasting room manager, Elicia, was very knowledgeable and informative.”
