Enjoy the stunning views of the Russian River Valley while tasting our highly acclaimed wines. We are a small production winery that focuses on site-specific Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah from cool climate vineyards. We offer seated wine tastings by appointment and happily accommodate walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis. Our setting is peaceful and intimate. Due to the nature of our guest experiences and location, outside food is not permitted. Children and friendly pets (on a leash) are welcome. “We have been visiting Russian River area of Sonoma for years. Everytime we try to find a new winery to check out. For my Birthday trip we decided to try Copain Winery. It had been highly recommended by friends within the Wine Industry. What a wonderful experience. Phil Robinson was amazing and provided a very personalized and educational experience. The wines are all lovely. In particular we enjoyed their Pinot Noir, Grenache, and Chardonnay. Their approach for all of their wines is letting the fruit shine and not to mask with over oaking etc. The grounds were spectacular! We will definately make Copain Winery a regular stop on every trip to the region. Thank You Phil for a wonderful Birthday experience.”
“Amazing Place, Amazing Wine, Amazing Service, and an Amazing Valentines Day Date! Took my beautiful date to Copain to enjoy their tasting flight and was pleasantly surprised by each and every wine. With years of winemaking history, gorgeous views, and killer wine (The Skycrest Vineyard Chardonnay and Hawks Butte Syrah were our favorites!); we could not have asked for a more perfect location to taste at. Phil and Maura did an amazing job with their wonderful hospitality and service. 10/10, would highly recommend!”
“Ah, Copain! Every time I look at images from this venue, my heart skips a beat and I smile SO BIG! The view from the top of the hill, where you can see vineyards and hills for miles during the ceremony, and the Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy a glass and the view give this laid back feel while still feeling classy. I LOVE how open the space feels, but intimate. The light is a photographers dream and the vibe of relaxation is perfect for a wedding where you want to truly savor the moment!”
