The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did! The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day. “This is a special place. I find myself hesitating to review the “hidden gems” that I stumble across in the wild…Porter Creek is at the top of that list! Our group was doing a casual wine tasting tour in Russian River Valley and chose to stop at Porter Creek on our way from Guerneville to Dry Creek. We enjoyed it so much we didn’t want to leave! “Such a beautiful experience. Porter Creek was a nice quaint little vineyard but it could be on a whole different level. The staff was one of a kind and the atmosphere was magnificent. All the wine we tasted was so delightful, I just wish I could have taken a bottle or two with me. I would love to go back whenever I am back in California. If you are in California and you have not been then I definitely recommend taking a trip.”
