“Ehret Vineyard & Tasting Room is an absolute gem in Healdsburg and easily one of the highlights of our visit. From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, intimate, and thoughtfully curated. Every wine we tasted was outstanding and elegant, expressive, and impeccably balanced. The lineup showcased both power and finesse, with each bottle telling a clear story of the vineyard and the care behind it. What truly elevated the experience, though, was Alex Ehret, who was hosting the tasting room that day. Alex was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the property and the wines. He did an amazing job describing the vineyard, the land, and the philosophy behind Ehret—bringing the estate to life in a way that made us feel connected to it, even before visiting in person. His explanations were thoughtful and engaging without ever feeling rehearsed or overwhelming. By the end of the tasting, we were already talking about our next trip back. We absolutely cannot wait to return to Healdsburg and experience the safari ride through the property that Alex described so vividly—it sounds unforgettable.
