Women owned, Breathless Wines is a family affair, built by the love of three sisters, Sharon, Rebecca, and Cynthia, and the passion for life that their mother passed down to them. The sisters, along with Breathless Winemaker Penny Gadd-Coster, are dedicated to creating refreshing Méthode Champenoise Sparkling Wines that pair well with life’s special moments.
“We were visiting Healdsburg and enjoying trying some new wineries since our last visit some years ago. Our hotel had Breathless Sparking wine on their menu and when we inquired about it, we learned their tasting room was nearby. We have had this wine before and really love sparkling wines, so we visited their tasting room. The host was warm and welcoming, and we tried several of their sparkling wines and enjoyed them all. But, you must go visit and learn more about their winery and how it started and the women behind the wine. A very special place and a great origin story. Enjoy!”
“We found Breathless last weeekend after a couple we met in another tasting room recommended it. Great experience with super sparkling wines. Evelina was the best host! Very knowledgeable and passionate about the wine and took the time to explain the grape make up between Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs and Brut Rose. Loved the 2021 Sparking Pinot Meunier and the Brut Rose so much we purchased both bottles. Highly recommend visiting this tasting room!!”
“Each visit I’ve had here has been delightful. It was raining when I first arrived so we opted to sit indoors, which was really cute. However, once the sun came out, we moved our tasting to outdoors to sit in one of their awesome bubbles. How cool to sip bubbles while sitting in a bubble! Our server was Eveliina and she was knowledgeable and personable. I love all their bubbles and took one home as usual. Also, the charcuterie plate was very tasty. All in all a great experience.”
“Super one-of-a-kind wine tasting near downtown Healdsburg.. Love, love, love the unique decor. Everything is so clean, and well maintained. The garden patio is tranquil and beautiful. The staff here are very hospitable. I bought a bottle of champagne as a gift for someone and they loved it. 💕 I personally am in awe of what was created in this space - it's a hidden gem. A-Class! I look forward to taking their behind-the-scenes production tour, looks so fun! 🍾”
