“My husband and I love Farwood Bar and Grill. We had a special visit from our son and we came for dinner. Our son loved his dinner and we did too. Our server for for the night was Sam and he was very good. Took care of us. Explained the different beers and was very helpful. No dessert since we were all very full. It is so comfortable and so delightful to spend time at Farwood Bar and Grill for dinner. My birthday is the 26th so my husband and I will back to celebrate and have a great dinner.”

“Have you ever eaten a pine nut? Well either have I, but I have had the Avocado Fries at Farwood and they were wonderful! As matter of fact everything was wonderful. My daughter had the Cajun Fettuccine and she said it had the perfect 'hotness'. I tasted it and delicious dosent even come close to describing the flavor and texture! I had the grilled Shrimp salad and it was huge. The dressing was perfect as was the shrimp. Did I mention the cocktails? The Lavender infused Gimlet - divine! And so pretty! Connor- our absolutely adorable bartender- knows his job! Plus he was engaging and friendly, from me, a woman of a certain age, to my gorgeous daughter, to the children accompanied by their parents for lunch. Not every bartender/restaurant server can claim that! If you are anywhere near Orland or you want a lunch destination,do yourself a favor and get yourself to Farwood Grill. You won't be disappointed!”

“I have come here plenty over the last 15 years, even after the 2020 world event. The owner is very personable when he is here. Amy was amazing today. Professional and very sweet and kind. She was very thorough in her service. Even the busser Seth was very professional and took my dishes in a timely manner as I finished them. It does look like the prices went up again since the last time I was here a few months back, but the burgers are still real beef, and their food quality has NOT been compromised. I cannot recommend this place strong enough.”

“Beautiful bar and nice bartender.. I can’t really give a full rating because all I did was sit at the bar for about a minute.. never ate or drank anything. The wall that has the liquor is poorly lit and is hard to make out names on labels. As I was sitting there a woman three stools away was continually coughing and appeared to have some kind of cold or chest issue. I was already frustrated about the lack of backlighting and the woman hacking sent me over the edge, and I walked out. Not sure what the circumstances were, but I feel like she has poor etiquette and maybe management should’ve asked her to leave. Am I wrong for saying that? am I bad for leaving? Next year maybe I will try again,I make it down every year to buy honey bee packages during the spring. I want to be able to give five stars!”
