“Pretty Italian restaurant, nautical decor, relaxing atmosphere, Italian music, delicious food: the Spanish octopus, and the mafaldine and seafood in squid ink were To Die For!! Friendly personnel: shout out to Luis for his service and professionalism. I will definitely go back.”
“First let me say that their customer service is so lovely here! We came twice in one day. For dinner and after our daughter's game for dessert. Our waiter the first time was very welcoming and helpful I unfortunately did catch his name and he also said hi when we came back for dessert again great customer service! And our waiter for dessert she was so nice we sat outside this time she came cleaned our table and recommended some dessert, I loved the coconut cheesecake. Both of our waiter gave us great service, nothing like going to a restaurant to eat great food and have my family be treated nice and respectful we will definitely be coming back! Now the food just delicious, loved the Calamari very fresh and tasty we had two orders that's how tasty it is. My hubby got the branzino, that was delicious, the fish was cooked so nicely, sauce and veggies just was a very exquisite plate. He loved it and I tried it and loved it. Braised beef pasta with truffle oil was very tasty, and delicious! big beef serving they definitely don't skimp on meat portion. We really recommend this place food and service are worth it, Money well spent! Very nice and quiet ambiance, it's a very nice restaurant. Loved dining indoor for dinner and loved coming back for the experience outside for dessert.”
“My girlfriend and I visited Fattoria E mar tonight and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Our server, Joaquin, was phenomenal. He was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu, providing truly five-star service from start to finish. The food was excellent—full of great flavor and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was delicious and well prepared. Between the outstanding service and the high-quality food, it made for a wonderful dining experience. I would definitely recommend checking out this Italian restaurant if you’re in the area. We’ll certainly be back!”
“Fattoria e Mare is easily one of the best Italian restaurants in San Francisco and a must-visit if you’re looking for high quality food, beautiful presentation, and a memorable dining experience. We started with the Roasted Beet Tower, which was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, followed by the Butter Lettuce, light and crisp with excellent flavor. The fried calamari and asparagus were perfectly cooked crispy, not greasy, and great for sharing. For mains, the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe was outstanding: creamy, rich, and executed exactly how this classic Italian dish should be. The house-made potato gnocchi was soft, comforting, and full of flavor you can really taste the quality and care in their handmade pasta. Dessert was a highlight and absolutely not to be missed. The Egg Nog Bread Pudding, Triple Chocolate Lava Cake, and house-made tiramisu panna cotta were all exceptional and the perfect way to end the meal. To drink, we loved the Dragonfruit Mojito and the Mezcalita both well balanced, refreshing, and beautifully crafted. From the food quality to the atmosphere and drinks, Fattoria e Mare truly delivers. If you’re searching for one of the top Italian and best overall restaurants in San Francisco, this spot should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend and definitely coming back.”
“Went here for V-Day and had the prefix menu. Several courses were good like the ravioli and Osso Buco, and the scallop course was excellent. However the crab cake was mostly filler and could barely taste the crab. The dessert you can see from the menu was "chocolate" pudding with butterscotch but actually it was ALL butterscotch. A bit misleading and disappointing. The service was below average for a restaurant like this. I feel like maybe they had some extra help for the busy Valentine's dinner crowd and the extras were not well trained or experienced as maybe some of the regular staff, although they were very polite, they just seemed more like what you would expect at an Applebee's or Olive Garden. As for atmosphere, the inside is nicely styled but I didn't like being able to hear the restaurant phone ring in the dinning area or seeing sports playing on the flatscreen at the bar - kind of kills the couples-night-out mood. Maybe they could have played Casablanca or something like the for the special night instead of sports. Overall for what this restaurant is trying to be, I think it falls short of expectations, at least for a special couple's night out.”
