“Had such an amazing experience at Folktale! I’m not even a big wine drinker, but their wine flight completely surprised me — everything was genuinely delicious. Our server was so kind and even let us try their specialty rosé, which ended up being one of the most memorable wines of the night.
I went for my birthday and they truly made it feel special — they brought out a dessert and the service overall was just so warm and attentive. The sunset and views were absolutely beautiful, which made the whole experience even better.
Also… the food?? The artichoke dip and flatbread pizzas were SO good.

“Wonderful experience! Sat outside - each table had its own fireplace. The food was amazing and there are many options on the menu including pasta that can be made gluten free. Highly recommend! The hummus was incredible.”

“My girlfriend and I spent our 2 year anniversary in Carmel and decided to check out this winery during our trip there. I would like to shoutout our tour guide Jonathan for giving us an outstanding experience. He made the winery tour feel very welcoming and overall enjoyable. The vibe, the wine, the staff and the winery as a whole were definitely admirable and we’ll for sure be visiting again in the future. (Sorry for the delayed review Jonathan, I was pretty drunk by the end of the tour hahaha)”

“The front courtyard is closed for renovations at the moment (Jan 2026) we sat in the back (where they have wedding receptions) and it was really relaxing and lovely. We easily got a table on a Thursday afternoon. We ordered the “White Witch” and some food. Our server was patient and kind. When he left for the day another server checked up on us frequently. It was a really nice overall experience and we left with some wine and olive oil to take home as gifts from their gift shop ❤️”

“Is you have the chance don't pass up a visit to Folktale!
We got there on a busy Saturday but they managed to find us a nice table.
After hearing it was out first visit out waiter (Nick) brought us a complimentary taste of their rose sparkling wine which was very good.
We are Pinot Noir fans so we ended up buying a bottle of that and some food. The Pinot was delicious, light but full of flavor.
The grounds are magical at sunset and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Will definitely return.”
