Bill Wathen and Dick Doré have been making wine together since 1985, when they founded Foxen Winery & Vineyard at the historic Rancho Tinaquaic in Northern Santa Barbara County. Since that time their dedication has remained the same: the creation of small production, sustainably-farmed, vineyard-focused wines using a straightforward and minimalist approach to winemaking. Here is what you can expect during your visit to one of Foxen's tasting rooms: • FOXEN tasting room: Outdoor seated tastings by reservations and walk-ins. • foxen 7200 tasting room: Outdoor seated tastings by reservations and walk-ins. • If there is a time that is not available online, please contact the tasting room at (805) 937 4251 or e mail tastingroom@foxenvineyard.com and we may be able to accommodate additional reservations at that time. • Tasting experiences are available for groups of 6 or fewer (INCLUDING NON- CONSUMERS & CHILDREN). The group size limit of 6 is the maximum our tables can seat. If you have a larger group that you would like to bring for a visit, please email tastingroom@foxenvineyard.com to discuss options. Please do not book multiple tables, as we cannot guarantee tables will be near each other. • All tasting experiences are in our outdoor area. Please dress accordingly! • We encourage guests to bring snacks or a picnic to enjoy within your reservation timeline. • We have small food options available for purchase daily and charcuterie boxes available for purchase Friday- Sunday. • Due to our rural location, it may be difficult to get a ride share scheduled to pick up in a timely manner. We would suggest prearranging a pickup with a Taxi/Lyft/Limo Service for a set time. • We welcome both children and dogs at our tasting rooms! We ask that children are included in the reservation so we can accommodate appropriate seating. For dogs, we ask that they stay leashed and at your table. “Amazing service, such lovely people. I'm all about people who want to be real when talking about wine. Down to earth, hands in the dirt people are my people. If you want to learn about wine or develop more region specific notes on wine, this place is wonderful. The lovely woman presenting my wine is so knowledgeable and wonderful to talk with. A beautiful drive down Zaca Station road led me to where I was supposed to be today. A beautiful garden setting, lovely people stopping in and working here, adorable doggos to pet...it was meant to be.”

“We loved all the wines we tasted. Graham, our server, was very knowledgeable. The Syrahs ( some of them are estate grown) and the Pinots are exceptional. Most wines have the sustainable label. The outdoor tasting area tables are far apart from each other, so it doesn't get noisy. Update for a new visit: excellent wines again, especially the Pinots. Or pourer, Becki, was very knowledgeable and very friendly.”
