The winery itself is stunning, with architecture inspired by a historic 1916 barn that perfectly complements the beauty of the surrounding vineyard and Blue Mountain backdrop. The wines are exceptional. As a true estate boutique winery, Garrison Creek focuses on small-lot, limited-production reds that showcase the incredible fruit grown on their renowned Les Collines estate vineyard. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are particularly impressive—elegant, complex, and crafted with remarkable attention to detail. A special shoutout to Laura Detwiler, whose wine tasting presentation was one of the highlights of our visit. Laura is incredibly knowledgeable, fun, engaging, and full of fascinating insights about the vineyard, winemaking process, and the unique character of Walla Walla wines. She made the entire experience both educational and entertaining. Between the world-class wines, breathtaking facility, and outstanding hospitality, Garrison Creek Cellars delivers a truly memorable wine country experience. “We had a spectacular time at Garrison Creek Cellars, which is the estate winery of Les Collines Vineyard. The building and vineyard are gorgeous. Our guide, Dylan, was knowledgeable and engaging. We got to tour the facility and even taste a barrel sample. My favorite portion of the tasting was a side by side comparison of two different Syrahs--it was amazing to taste the difference. We also enjoyed the delicious cheese platter. Definitely a must do when in Walla Walla (even though there's a wait list to become a member).”

“I’m a local, and I brought a friend from out of town to Garrison Creek Cellars—and we were both blown away. The big barn setting is so peaceful and welcoming, and the wines were absolutely beautiful. What really made the visit special was how much care went into sharing their process with us. We got to taste from the concrete “egg” and even a barrel, which felt like such a unique behind-the-scenes moment. It ended up being one of the highlights of my friend’s trip, and I’m already planning to bring more visitors back.”
