“Santa Rita Lavender Farm in Lompoc is a delightful haven of beauty and tranquility. The fragrant fields of lavender create a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and taking in the stunning views. The farm offers a variety of high-quality lavender products, from essential oils to soaps, all made with care. The owners are warm and welcoming, sharing their knowledge about lavender farming and its many uses. A magical spot that’s well worth a visit!”
“We had a great visit to Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farms. The farm itself is beautiful, filled with the intoxicating scent of lavender and the low buzz of happy pollinators. They kindly held our tour after we were waylaid by unexpected roadwork. And it was a tour worth the wait as it was casual yet informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and left with a number of delightful (and delicious) lavender purchases. We highly recommend Santa Rita Hills to anyone, and will continue to support this small, but thriving, business.”
“We loved our visit to this Lavender Farm! It's family owned, and the employees there were incredibly kind and informative. They have vibrant, purple farms with blossoming lavender. Summer is the ideal time to go here because that's when the flowers bloom. They also have animals and a field of other flowers.”
“My family and I loved our visit to Santa Rita Hills lavender farm! The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable. They gave us a wonderful tour jam-packed with interesting facts and anecdotes about growing lavender, as well as all the other flora and fauna on the farm - a variety of gorgeous flowers, honey bees, goats, and more. The lavender itself was in full bloom when we visited, and walking through the fields was a magical experience - it was so calming to be surrounded by seas of waving lavender. We couldn’t leave without some goodies from the farm stand - lavender satchels, shower bombs, and edible lavender for cooking, as well as farm fresh eggs. Our visit was one of the highlights of our trip to Santa Barbara for sure! Definitely give this lovely spot a visit!”
“We had a lovely time doing a tour of the property. We got an explanation of the property, their history there, and how they are managing this new business. Basically, there using regenerative practices but not going for a certification at this point - just being good stewards trying to build things in a environmentally friendly way. Very honorable! They are working on lavender up front and flowers and now veggies in the back. The tour includes a tour of the property, explanation of what they are doing, how they harvest the lavender and get the oils out. Probably a 45min experience worth the cost if you have good questions. They also have public and private lavender wreath making classes that you can find online or inquire directly on. They recommend coming back multiple times to see the property in different seasons but July is best for seeing the lavender in its pristine glory!”
