Ivar’s Mukilteo Landing is pleasantly situated on Possession Sound featuring breathtaking views of the North Puget Sound, with front row seats to watch ferries come and go. Whether dining for lunch or dinner, be sure to enjoy a mouth-watering selection of expertly prepared Northwest seafood specialties, as well as a wide variety of Ivar’s famous original recipe entrées that have made us famous since 1938. We also feature a lively bar in the Boathouse II Lounge, waterfront deck dining (open during the summer), plus a quick and delicious take-out service.
“Happy Hour is wonderful but my suggestion would be to offer much smaller plates at a lower price point. All items were delicious but enough for 3 people. I really wanted to try 5 different things but will be taking home 2/3rds of the two items I ordered. A cup of chowder instead of a bowl would be a nice option. Martinis were top notch!”
“Pretty decent breaded fish and chips. Oysters were delicious. Apparently they were from Fanny Bay British Columbia. Hefty chunk of tiramisu. Amazing views.”
“Always consistent food with a fabulous view. Great bar and place to hang out with friends for appetizers and a drink. Seafood is really good. Can't go wrong if you are in the area and want good seafood with a view.”
“Sat promptly, interior had low/cozy lighting with a nice view of the water. Service was good. We started with calamari which had a nice crispy breading. I ordered a 3 piece halibut and chips, halibut was good while the fries were okay, not very crispy. Hubby got a seafood trio that was good just not very much if you’re hungry. We ended with the oysters Rockefeller which had good flavor.”
“OK, great location, classic fish-n-chips place, quick friendly service, short line and wait (on sunny saturday in May). ONLY complaint is wow, 15$ for 3 'fingers' of fried fish and tiny bed of not-so-great fries (a bit soft, stringy). Very disappointing. Sad but "shrink"-inflation bites hard. Definitely not worth it. Bring your own food. Local park, dock, is fantastic, view is great, ample park benches, great/clean WC, ample parking (10$ per day, another gasp, welcome to Seattle).”
