“I’ve been coming to this winery for several years so at this point it feels like home. All their wines are good (in my humble opinion), although I’m a bigger fan of the reds such as Privado, Aliento, Mudd’s Kitchen, and Suede. The owners are warm, and the employees are some of the best in the business. They’re all very down-to-earth here (shoutouts to Dustin and Kate), which I appreciate tremendously. It’s a lovely place to go and enjoy a tasting while sitting in the various seating areas in the building such as the barrel room and patio, or outside in the gorgeous gardens when the weather is nice. Do yourself a favor by visiting James Cole Winery! P.S. I like visiting during a weekday since it’s a quieter atmosphere and it’s easier to get a reservation for my desired time.”

“Kate was phenomenal!!! Had a great informative conversation about wine and food pairing. She is an encyclopedia of information about wine. Learned a lot from her even though I already knew a lot. Beautiful tasting wines. A true boutique winery that produces some of the best wines. One of the best Malbecs I’ve ever had. Their Petite Verdot was amazing. Had to buy and ship!!!”

“What an absolute delight! We came in unannounced and Dustin welcomed us right away with a smile and friendly banter. He and Holly were accommodating and friendly, the tasting included 1 white and 4 reds with pretty generous pours. It was a comfortable afternoon on the front porch on the couch, and Dustin came out to check on regularly, regaling us with fun stories and lots of laughs. We’ll never forget you, Cody Mustang!”
